Ted Cruz’ Creepy, Mean-Spirited New Year’s Message For Fox Viewers

Source: Newshounds 1 hour ago

While other candidates used their New Year’s Eve airtime on Fox News for brief messages of good cheer, Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz droned on for nearly two minutes about what he yearns to destroy, plus a long, nasty joke about President Obama. Other candidates, including Democrat Martin O’Malley, appeared in video messages that were generally upbeat. But Cruz, in a voice filled with hammy hope and optimism, talked only of all the things he looks forward to obliterating:

As I previously noted, Republican candidates Dr. Ben Carson and Carly Fiorina got brief live stints on Fox’s New Year’s Eve special. Frontrunner Donald Trump was the guest of honor. But hosts Eric Bolling and Kimberly Guilfoyle were so busy slobbering over Trump that they almost missed the countdown that Trump was supposed to do and they ended up doing it late, after January 1, 2016 had already begun and the Times Square ball had already dropped.

CRUZ: Happy New Year. 2016 is going to be an incredible year. 2016 is going to be the last year of the Obama presidency. 2016 is going to be the last year before Hillary retires permanently to Chappaqua. 2016 is going to be the last year that we have ObamaCare. Cruz apparently thought the idea of 17 million people losing their health insurance was such happy news, he didn’t feel the need to tell anyone what will replace it.

CRUZ: 2016 is going to be the last year until we abolish the IRS. And 2016 is going to be the last year until we utterly destroy ISIS and defeat radical Islamic terrorism. Like 1980, 2016 is going to be a very, very good year. He didn’t say a single thing about what he’d create or how he'd fund such things as the military that's going to "utterly destroy" ISIS without an IRS. Not to mention roads, bridges, airport security and Social Security. I would not be surprised if Cruz intended to privatize all of them.

Assuming this will eventually come up in the campaign.

Cruz's mother was an American citizen.
His father was a foreign citizen (Cuba)

Obama's mother was an American citizen.
His father was a foreign citizen (Kenya)

Let's just assume Obama was born in Kenya (which I don't believe for a second)

Then Obama and Cruz would be in the exact same situation.

mother citizen, father not citizen, born in foreign country.

So, as you said, where are the birthers?

Cruz is a simple-minded huckster hoping to gain fame and fortune in the manner of Glenn Beck and that's about it. People who read Seuss on the Senate floor cannot be taken seriously.

Yes they just love me at faux because I bring in really great ratings ,fantastic unbelievable ratings ,my fans are always there wherever I go !

But that's beside the point ,right now I am somewhat confused ,you know Fiornia ,Carley ,she's a graduate of Stanford and she rooted for Iowa in the big game of the year. She is somewhere between 2 and 3 per cent in the Iowa polls ,even Jeb might be doing as much as 3.5 per cent there, so what does Fiornia figure ,is she going to pick up a pointer or two !

The thing of it is in my confusion, I really have to wonder ,are employees and those in the executive branches at places such as H.P really dumb dumb enough to fall for that kind of crap ? I mean it must have worked for her many times over the years ,after all she did manage to run H.P. into the ground ,are they really that dumb ?

I am sure Stanford was more than glad to shove her off onto Iowa ,I mean really, who needs what she brings on !
But I think the real question is who or what the hell is she really rooting for ? !

Murdoch is nothing more than a media pimp- he wanted to be king of the pimps but he was outed in his ways !The pimp believes that news itself isn't news at all, sensationalism is what sells ,journalists had to become media prostitutes in order to survive in the business. Most of them in his news of the world organization didn't mind at all ,you know having to prostitute themselves ,their work and the profession. The guy single handedly managed to turn print journalism into a perverted version of itself. In fact they viewed Murdoch as their king. But suddenly his kingdom imploded, and that's a very different story ! There is no nicey nice or politically correct way of putting it.

Stay tuned ,great entertainment coming soon !

The marine ended up being drafted to serve in the war that President Cruz started for no good reason and the old man's grandchildren all perished fighting in that same war. And the marine returned home and found all his benefits scrapped by the Cruz Administration in the interests of smaller government and the old man had all his social security benefits taken away from him for the same reason. Three years into the Cruz presidency, they both found themselves wondering the street as homeless men and had another chance encounter. They both cursed themselves for having being such insufferable jerks for cheering President Obama's departure from office and wished that they'd been more appreciative of his leadership while they still had it. And in 2020, American voters in all 50 states booted Cruz's sorry ass from office and he ended up serving life in a federal prison for all the crimes and abuses of power he committed while in office, hated by both his fellow inmates and the American people.

NEW YORK — Donald Trump’s ad begins with a shot of President Obama and Hillary Clinton. Then comes a U.S. battleship launching a cruise-missile strike. It moves swiftly through an explosive montage: The suspects in the recent California terrorist attack. Shadowy figures racing across the U.S.-Mexico border. Islamic State militants.

The narrator, a deep-voiced man, speaks ominously: “That’s why he’s calling for a temporary shutdown of Muslims entering the United States, until we can figure out what’s going on. He’ll quickly cut the head off ISIS and take their oil. And he’ll stop illegal immigration by building a wall on our southern border that Mexico will pay for.”

The spot closes with the image of Trump thundering at one of his rallies, “We will make America great again!”

The Republican presidential candidate’s long-awaited and hotly anticipated first ad, which was shared exclusively with The Washington Post, is set to launch Monday as part of a series that will air in the final month before the Iowa caucuses. Trump has vowed to spend at least $2 million a week on the ads — an amount that will be amplified by the countless times they are likely to be played on cable news and across social media.

The decision to air television ads — which Trump hinted at for months, though the billionaire mogul has been loath to spend more than he deems necessary — represents a tightly produced new act for a candidate who has fed largely off free media attention.

Donald Trump addresses thousands of supporters last Saturday in Biloxi, Miss. (Spencer Platt/Getty Images)
In an interview Sunday with The Post, Trump said that he has six to eight ads in production and that his was a “major buy and it’s going to go on for months.” He said he hopes the spots impress upon undecided voters that the country has become “a dumping ground.”
