Palin Hints at Possible Senate Bid

Source: Political Wire

Former Gov. Sarah Palin (R) “keeps raising questions about whether she plans on running against Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK),” according to the Midnight Sun.

"First she said it was a possibility in a radio interview, then she put her Arizona home on the market, now we’re hearing murmurs from Washington D.C. that she is seriously considering the possibility.”

Different than being the sole Governor of a State. She could get lost in crowd and just vote the way her masters in the Tea Bagger Inc. want her to. Then work on gerrymandering her own district to make sure she gets in next time too. Then sit back and collect a paycheck for decades.

From Canada. I just hear how the Republicans keep getting re-elected (even though Congress has such a high disapproval rating) because a lot the reason has to do with gerrymandering. Even if by a Republican Governor. Maybe the Senate is different? But I shouldn't have spoken, as I am too unfamiliar with your system. Just what I assumed.

You know that if she gets campaign contributions, she gets to keep them. So, she starts a campaign PAC, raises some cash. Makes noise for 15 minutes. Decides she can't win. Drops out. It's not like her quitting would be a shock to anybody.

Then she skates with the funds. Probably a lot more than $174k for almost no work. Right up her alley.

39. Blame Adam Brickley for Palin's rise from obscurity
Sun Jan 3, 2016, 07:20 PM
Jan 2016

Palin was snatched from obscurity mainly due to the efforts of a Colorado college student:

How a college sophomore put Alaska's governor on the map

Limpballs and others started jumping on the Palin bandwagon a year later, but Brickley was the first to see her "potential" as a GOP VP candidate. He even started a blog which is still online (the internet never forgets).

So, for the hours of entertainment, buffoonary and hypocrisy (Bristol Palin would have remained in baby-making obscurity had her abstinence only campaign been initiated by someone else) we have a young student named Adam Brickley to thank.

Unlike Palin, Marland actually DID THING S(And getting them done was one of the reason for his alcoholism):

Son of a mining boss.... His family moved to the coal town of Glen Rogers in Wyoming County, West Virginia when he was seven. During World War II, he served as a Navy lieutenant in the Pacific theater, completing four tours. He attended the University of Alabama, where he was a star football player, and received a law degree from West Virginia University in 1947. ......

As Governor (1953-1957) Marland advocated the desegregation of schools, expansion of the state parks and other recreational facilities, improved unemployment and workers' compensation laws, and an industrial development program. ...

In the early 1960s, the ex-governor gave up drinking..... Marland...was working as a taxi driver,....

Son of a mining boss, Joseph Wesley and Maude Casey Marland, he was born in Johnston City, Illinois on March 26, 1918. And you'll hear a tale
A tale of a grift-filled trip,
That started from some Alaskan port,
A broad with leather strips.
Her claim to fame was a VP run, that made us kinda sad,
A word salad dish she served to all, "My English ain't not bad!"
A few years ago, the powers said,
You're up for a four year tour,
A four year tour.

The newies started getting rough,
The Palin brand was tossed.
If not for the courage of her feckless groups
The Sarah would be lost.
The Sarah would be lost.

76. She's not running for anything
Tue Jan 5, 2016, 12:44 AM
Jan 2016

Sarah Palin is not running for office anytime, anywhere.

Here's what's going on: She's going bankrupt and her hinting at running for office is a desperate attempt to get people to donate to her PAC, SarahPAC -- which is about to go under.

SarahPAC is an unlimited PAC -- which means the money donated to the PAC can be spent on ANYTHING -- food; clothes; Louboutin shoes for her slutty daughter; travel; you name it.

Back in 2008 to about 2012, the money was rolling in. The Palin family had a couple of "reality shows;" she had a job with Fox; daughter Bristol was on Dancing With the Stars as well as making over $250,000 a year as a spokesperson for teenage abstinence (this is after she had her first out-of-wedlock child); and, SarahPAC was bringing in $4-5 million a year. While the cash was rolling in, the Palin's spent heavily -- several top-of-the-line cars and trucks; snowmobiles; homes -- including spending $1.6 million on a house in Scottsdale, AZ; airplane; house for Bristol; rented limos; very expensive clothes; and the like.

Now, SarahPAC is in deep trouble. Between 31 Dec 2012 and 30 June 2015, donations were off a whopping 90% while expenses were cut by only 40 percent. An analysis of the PAC's financial reports make it clear the PAC will be broke before June 2016.

One example. In February 2015, Bristol Palin posted on her Instagram page a photo of herself and Sarah standing next to a charter Gulfstream IV with the comment "Thanks, Mom, for the flight to Vegas." In the PAC's financial report is an expense, in February 2015, for $16,000 for a chartered aircraft. SarahPAC spent $16,000 to fly Sarah, Bristol, and some friends to Vegas for partying on Valentine's Day 2015 (which, as it turned out, is where Bristol got knocked up during a one-night stand after a night of bar-hopping).

Sarah's house in Scottsdale, AZ, is now on the market for $2.5 million -- the median price of houses in the same neighborhood is around $800,000. She paid $1.6 million for the house, hopes to make $900,000 profit on it. Likely she'll have to come WAY down in the price and will be lucky -- after capital gains taxes and realtors' fees -- to get out of the deal.

Consider this:
-- No one in the family is employed. Husband Todd, unemployed; Sarah, unemployed; son Track, dopehead, in and out of rehab, unemployable; daughter Bristol, just gave birth to her second fatherless child, unemployed high school dropout, unmarried, with no prospects; daughter Willow, finished "beauty school," working for minimum wage and tips in a no-name Anchorage salon; daughter Piper, high school student; 6-yr-old son Trig has Down Syndrome, cannot talk, cannot eat solid food, is a holy terror, requires special caregivers.
-- Sarah has been fired from Fox; all her tv reality shows are cancelled and not even in reruns; her Sarah Palin subscription channel caved after six months; her latest book, a devotional, is around #8,000 on Amazon and three of five book signings were cancelled because no one attended.
-- The family owes huge back taxes on the several properties they bought in Alaska and Arizona back when times were good.
-- Their fleet of cars, trucks, snowmobiles, boats, and airplanes cost a bundle in insurance, fuel, and upkeep
-- SarahPAC is no longer a money machine.
-- She can't get lucrative speaking engagements; she shows up only at no-name anti-abortion rallies or at a big-game convention in a no-name town in Minnesota.

Sarah does this shit all the time -- drops hints that she's "thinking about running." She did it in 2010, 2012, 2014, and now in 2016. It's a ploy to attract donations to her PAC because she needs the money.
