The international nuclear watchdog, the IAEA, says Iran has put in place all the measures necessary to start implementing the nuclear deal, paving the way for the lifting of sanctions.

Iran has complied with nuclear deal: UN watchdog

Vienna (AFP) - Iran has complied with last July's nuclear deal, the UN atomic watchdog said Saturday, allowing sanctions to be lifted and the landmark accord to enter into force.

The International Atomic Energy Agency said that its "inspectors on the ground verified that Iran has carried out all measures required under the (July deal)... to enable Implementation Day to occur."
