Report: Christie asked Gov. Cuomo to tell Port Authority executive director to "f--k off"

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie once phoned New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and told him to tell Pat Foye, the executive director of the New York and New Jersey Port Authority "to f--k off."
The call in December 2013 and Christie's colorful language is detailed in a newly released book, American Governor: Chris Christie's Bridge to Redemption by Matt Katz.

Christie, according to the account, made the call after Foye, speaking under oath, said he was "not aware of any traffic study" during questioning about the "Bridgegate" scandal that once threatened to derail Christie's political career. Christie has denied knowing anything about the shutting down of the lanes of traffic on the George Washington Bridge in 2013. Federal officials indicted Christie's former deputy chief of staff as well as two Port Authority officials in May, alleging they carried out an act of political vengeance on a mayor who would not endorse Christie's re-election campaign.
Christie, according to Katz, was listening to the hearings on his computer and quickly texted Regina Egea, his incoming chief of staff and also his aide charged with liaising with the Port Authority. He then called Cuomo, who had appointed Foye to the Port Authority post.

"I told Cuomo to tell Pat Foye to fuck off," Christie told his staff, according to the book. Foye had written emails quoted in the press that were critical about the lane closures.

Chris here folks :

Enough about that ,you should read my book ,I wanted to title it The Outer Edges Inside The Walk in Closet !

Chris Christie Offers a Key to Marital Success: Fight in a Walk-in Closet

Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey and his wife, Mary Pat, underwent marriage counseling to wrestle with what he called “really challenging times” in their relationship. They waited seven years to have children to ensure they “definitely liked each other.” And to this day they retreat to a walk-in closet to loudly argue away from their children’s earshot, according to a new book.

The candid account from Mr. Christie, now a Republican candidate for president, represents a rare acknowledgment of marital struggle in American politics, where marriages are traditionally portrayed as simpler, smiling portraits of happiness and commitment.

And it suggests that Mr. Christie, whose combative style and unyielding candor are the centerpiece of his political ways, brings much the same approach to his personal life as he does to his public one.

Mr. Christie did not say when he and his wife underwent marital counseling in the book, “American Governor,” by Matt Katz, a reporter for WNYC, a public radio station. But a person close to the governor said the couple had sought out the therapy early on in their marriage.

Just wait until you get to the chapter about the unbreakable naughty chair Mary Pat had installed- she had it commandeered straight out of the Jersey state prison system !

Honestly, how can anyone take this loud mouth, over-stuffed aggressive Jack-ass seriously to run anything other than a bunch of thugs and stormtroopers.

Disgraceful pig!

Mr Christie couldn't redeem himself if he took sackcloth and ashes and became a Trappist monk.

Several Republicans are free from all kinds of criminal charges because our Justice system has been hijacked by the Conservatives. Democrats still don't get the important of nominating Judges

...about huge jam ups on the most traveled bridge in America, as governor wouldn't you get to the bottom of WHY it was happening (unless you knew why it was happening) and remedy the situation (unless you didn't want a remedy)? ...You don't believe Christie knew about the toll closings? I have a bridge for sale.

So Christie is set off by someone testifying truthfully under oath? Foye had nothing to gain by lying - if in fact he knew of a traffic study it would have quickly come out and he have been on the hook for perjury. Why would Christie even be following the testimony if he really had no concern about the issue, as he was publicly portraying with reporters, even mocking them for asking him about it? Remember the smoking gun email ("time for some traffic problems in Ft. Lee&quot did not come out until Jan. In December Christie still thinks that there is no paper trail tying his staff to the closures. And he is in full deniability mode. If Christie really did not know his staff was involved he should have had no concern about what Foye said or did not say under oath. Maybe he didn't actually order the closures but he knew there was no traffic study. What he didn't know was that there was an email trail.
