Polls shows Obama remains more popular than Romney

Source: ABC News

President Barack Obama remains more popular than Mitt Romney, according to a CNN/ORC International survey released Monday.

Romney's favorable rating among Americans has jumped from 34% in February to 48% now. Forty-two percent say they see Romney in a negative light.

Romney still trails the president, however, who currently has a 56% favorable rating, with 42% saying they have an unfavorable opinion of Obama, the CNN/ORC poll shows. The president's favorable and unfavorable ratings are unchanged from CNN polls in March and April.

"The biggest gap between Obama and Romney's favorable ratings is among younger Americans. More than two-thirds of those under 30 have a favorable view of Obama, compared to only four-in-ten who feel that way about Romney. Romney is much stronger among senior citizens, but the gap is not nearly as big," says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. "Romney may have a small advantage among independent voters, but that is offset by his lower favorable rating among Republicans than Obama has among Democrats."

The CNN poll was conducted by ORC International between May 29 and May 31, with 1,009 adults nationwide, including 895 registered voters, questioned by telephone. The survey's overall sampling error is plus or minus three percentage points, with a sampling error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points for registered voters.

No way that its even a horse race between the two. President O pushes all the right buttons for most Americans. The reason for that is he genuinely likes us regular Janes and Joes, its not a front he puts up. Rawmoney on the other hand could care less about us and that is not a front he is putting up either. He genuinely doesn't like us at all. Nor does he care for the country we normals love so much that we're willing to lay our lives on the line for it even when we know or at least sense we're being conned by the chickenhawks.

You act like President Obama was born and raised at Harvard, which he was not.

How do you like them apples?

PS: All you fake democrats on Koch Industries payroll should wait until you have over 500 posts under your belt before you start vomiting your propaganda on the DU's message boards: You'd get more folks to subsribe to your moral equivalency arguments if you did.

Obama was not born with silver spon In his mouth like Romney. His mother had to go on food stamps to help provide food for family.
His father left when he was 2.His mother remarried when he was 5.when he was 10 his mother got divorced. From age 11 on hsi grandparents were big Influences In his upbringing.Tp provide for collage he has to use student loans. The money he got was because of
2 bestselling books he wrote. He had to work for what he has gotten.Obama Is example of america dream. And many AMericans have
similar storys of their childhoods.

I know of Harvard Grads who, like Obama, came from regular middle class households & still have plenty of regular middle class friends!

Romney was given most of what he has from money to access Obama on the other hand could have done what Romney did & went to Wall Street but he chose to go help in the roughest areas that needed him! HUGE DIFFERENCE!!

Obama is one of the greatest leaders this country has had in decades despite what fascist propaganda has lead you to believe.

the "To Figure This Out, You Had To Do A Freaking STUDY?" category.

But I am a little worried about R-Money's "advantage among independent voters" -- they're the ones who put Obama over.

they said that more people had faith that Rmoney can turn the economy
around -
I was just waking up but it seemed that everyone on the panel made signs of a surprise as if they believed that Rmoney was in good position now.

How could anyone with a brain believe anything that Rmoney said about turning anything around other than his flip flops.

Fox News sets the table with incomplete math and flat out made up stuff.
