Taliban use 'honey trap' boys to kill Afghan police

Source: Times of India

TARIN KOT: The Taliban are using young boys as sex slaves to mount crippling insider attacks on police in southern Afghanistan, exploiting the pervasive practice of "bacha bazi" — paedophilic boy play — to infiltrate security ranks, multiple officials and survivors of such assaults said.

Even as ISIS attacks and kills men for being gay - the terrorist group says homosexuality is unIslamic - the ancient custom of "bacha bazi" is still practiced across Afghanistan. Nowhere does it seem as entrenched as in the province of Uruzgan, where "bacha bereesh" — or boys without beards — widely become objects of lustful attraction for powerful police commanders.

The Taliban over nearly two years have used them to mount a wave of Trojan Horse attacks — at least six between January and April alone — that have killed hundreds of policemen, according to security and judicial officials in the province.

"The Taliban are sending boys — beautiful boys, handsome boys — to penetrate checkpoints and kill, drug and poison policemen," said Ghulam Sakhi Rogh Lewanai, who was Uruzgan's police chief until he was removed in a security reshuffle in April amid worsening violence.

Too lazy to search the original article.
Two US-soldiers tried to stop afghani officers from raping boys, one top afghani officer complained to a high-ranking US-officer and the two US-soldiers were kicked out.

So now that it's still going on, the guys that want to continue abusing boys are getting killed? I'm having trouble working up any sympathy. I felt something for a few minutes when I first read this story, but it turns out I was just hungry.

Is it bad I'm kind of rooting for the Taliban? I mean, I know WHY they're doing it. To weaken the US installed government and regain their influence over the people of Afghanistan. But, still... No one is 100% bad. Killing men that abuse boys. Well, as they say, Hitler did kill Hitler.

Not cute 'aren't I a wicked one' bad...

Just bad...

What's wrong with you?

Also, if you think that those same folks don't have some Chai boys servicing them where they bed down you are kidding yourself.

What do you think they do? Kill all the cops and they take them back into the fold for a quality education and a good meal?

I swear... I wonder if people read what they write sometimes.

The SFC got to stay in I believe...

It's pedophile killing pedophile. Keeping kids like that is culturally acceptable there. You want to change their culture? I'd love to. It's disgusting that kids are treated like that. What do you want to do about it? What's your plan for dealing with it?

If the Taliban succeeds in killing the Afghani police officer, that's one less pedophile. If the officer ends up killing the Taliban, that's one less jackass that'll be there to shoot girls for getting an education.
That country has been a mess for a LONG time, way before bush got there. It wasn't exactly a democratic, liberal paradise until 2001. You want to change 500 years of tribal culture?

It would be nice if we had a culture that was worth looking up to: compassion for the sick and vulnerable, opportunity for all, decent treatment for prisoners, an honest government and fair justice system, a kinder culture, and a reduction in the amount of lame excuses we tolerate for torture and war.

Rapists and pedophiles that destroy the innocence of youth deserve nothing less than this. How sad for the children involved that this is their only recourse to "justice". It's a shame that other innocent Afghan soldiers are caught up in this attack, but if you rape a child you deserve nothing less in my opinion.
