McCain backtracks after blaming Obama for shooting in Orlando

Source: The Hill

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) on Thursday walked back comments that President Obama was "directly responsible" for the mass shooting at an Orlando nightclub that left 49 people dead and 53 more wounded.

"I misspoke," McCain said in a statement.

"I did not mean to imply that the President was personally responsible. I was referring to President Obama's national security decisions, not the President himself."

The Arizona senator earlier Thursday said Obama was responsible for the shooting because he allowed for the growth of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) during his presidency, ABC News reported.

"gooks" - as recently as 2000. I can only imagine what he calls Obama behind closed doors and I'm sure Trump has plenty of slurs as well.

He has lost any credibility that he ever had. So Obama himself did not cause the massacre, it was his nation security decisions. So, according to him, Obama is not responsible for his own policies. Makes a lot of sense (if you have a screw loose.)

He should have left after his terrible choice of running mate when he ran in 2008. That alone makes him unfit to run the country.

not knowing the meaning of causality

The Founders put no age restrictions on Congress

Generally they didn't live long enough to have old age dementia,
or Alzheimer's as it is now called

I'm not saying that's the case here, but what will happen if
some incumbent actually gets to that point?

The aides and staff just keep covering it all up?

Suppose it applies to judges too, anyone with lifetime job security

No McFool you didn't misspeak. You deliberately lied. Obama had nothing to do with the Status of Forces agreement that George Bush made with Iraq. It is POS's like you that won't even discuss our war in Iraq.

Though, I suspect she will be too conservative to garner the support of most DUers, these days.
