Martinez has ‘no plans’ for speech at GOP convention
Source: Albuquerque Journal
SANTA FE Gov. Susana Martinez has no plans to speak at next months Republican National Convention in Cleveland, during which Donald Trump is expected to be formally nominated as the GOPs presidential candidate.
Martinez, chairwoman of the Republican Governors Association, has remained noncommittal as to whether she will endorse Trump or even vote for him and did not attend the New York businessmans campaign rally in Albuquerque last month.
... she will be attending the four-day convention, which starts July 18, as the leader of New Mexicos delegation.
Gov. Martinez will hold a series of meetings as the head of the RGA and looks forward to discussing reforms with governors across the country that can have a positive impact on New Mexico, Martinez spokesman Michael Lonergan said Wednesday.

(23,091 posts)Wonder if he will have any women (other than possibly his daughter) speak? This bring up the same question as above only worse. What woman hates their sex enough to actually come out in support of him? Joni Ernst, Palin and Brewer are probably the only ones who would even consider this because there's not one shred of integrity to be shared amongst the 3 of them.

(28,017 posts)got on the phone with Ditka AND Trump and they basically blew kisses up each others' asses. BUT Ditka said, "I don't do speeches, and don't do public speaking, so I can't help you." and the phone call quickly got disconnected.
So she said in today's issue:

(34,195 posts)She doesn't.
She has no plans to speak.
From the linked article:
Martinez spokesman Michael Lonergan said Wednesday She has no plans to speak at the convention.
"Why would she have plans ..." you ask.
She doesn't.

(23,369 posts)My question was my means of indicating that I don't imagine that she would have such plans. I think that I could have communicated my thinking better.
I cannot imagine that she would plan to speak at a convention nominating a candidate that she doesn't publicly support.
