Trump blasts Cruz, resurrects idea that senator's father was in on JFK killing

Source: Dallas Morning News

WASHINGTON — Donald Trump waited more than a day to fully respond to Ted Cruz. But when he finally did, he didn't hold anything back.

Trump said Friday that he would not accept Cruz's endorsement even if offered. He threatened to set up a super PAC to oppose the Texas senator if he decides to run for president in four years.

He resurrected conspiracy theories that Cruz’s father was involved in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. And he gleefully recalled Cruz getting booed during his convention speech Wednesday night after declining to endorse his own nomination, telling voters to follow their conscience -- which he and others took as a warning not to support Trump.

“Honestly, he may have ruined his political career, I feel so bad,” Trump said at an event in Cleveland to cap the Republican convention. “And you know, he’ll come and endorse over the next little while, he’ll come and endorse because he has no choice.

If Warren is put in attack mode for the rest of the campaign, she will drive Trump completely bonkers and almost everything he does and says will be in response to her which will allow Clinton to focus on her vision for America. As for Pence, he's a complete afterthought who will be too busy prepping to do Trump's job if he is elected.

But the bloviating idiot has been emboldened now, so the sky is the limit. Tweet up a storm Trump, go after Ted's dad 'cause after all, it WAS in the Enquirer.
Oh, and the mouth-breathers that vote for this "know-nothing moron" are idiots too.

Cruz won a solid 25% of the hardest-core, formerly-sure-to-vote Republicans in the Primaries this year, 7,800,000 votes. Trump won only 45% of all Republican primary voters, 14,000,000. A further 7 million voted for someone else entirely. The need to unify the base was never stronger.

With the renewal of his attacks, and thanks to his childishly thin skin, Trump went a long way toward alienating one quarter to one half of his most ardent supporters. Who knows how many millions in donations that represents.

It was a clever move on Cruz's part, too, and one sure to work for us in the long run. He also is hated and feared by Republican managers, yet he just went a long way toward losing the election for the GOP this time and placed himself as an automatic front-runner in the next election, which he will also lose.

It's as close as we will get to a guaranteed eight-year term for Hillary Clinton. Because the politics of division never adds up!

Reminds me of the scene in Oliver Stone's JFK where Cruz's fellow operative Carlos Bringuier (portrayed by Tony Plana) feigns outrage at Oswald over the Fair Play for Cuba stunt and yells "you piece of cheat!"

From the article;

"Trump said Friday that he would not accept Cruz's endorsement even if offered.."

In other words;

"Oh YEAH? Well, I don't want your stinking endorsement anyways, so THERE!"

I am just so amazed at the blindness of his followers. How ANYone could think this pseudo celebrity would make a good president is beyond me.

14. Follow your conscience...?

I don't quite get the furor at the convention over Cruz's telling the voters to follow their conscience. Wouldn't it have been worse if he'd told them NOT to follow their conscience? "Ignore your heart, ignore your conscience, ignore your sense of decency, and support Trump!" Yes, that would have gone over real well.

Plus, if you're a reactionary mouth-breather who supports Trump, wouldn't you assume that any "sane" (meaning, believing as you do) person would, in following their conscience, also support Trump? So, why get upset over someone telling people to follow their conscience?

I think my problem is that I'm being entirely too logical about this.

Trump

The obsessed, narcissistic, vindictive Trump

It's his political career, short lived as it was, that is ruined.

Cruz knew Trump would take the bait and act like a maniac after Cruz' mild mannered refusal to endorse As a result he will be the one coming out on top

The very idea of a sitting president, which Trump and his fans believe will happen, a sitting president forming a PAC with the sole purpose of preventing the reelection of a Senator in his own party. Just because he doesn't like him

The mind boggles

Trump has no bottom that he can sink to. He is the Marianna Trench of political sleaze and arrogance

The reason for that is that Trump is proud of his arrogance He is completely self aware. So are his fans equally proud of their arrogance. They revel in it and boast about it as seen by the following Freeper post by a long time member. The subject is the George Harrison estate objecting to the use of, "Here Comes the Sun", as the introduction to Trumps speech.

"To: jeannineinsd

too bad. We live to offend. Seriously it has gotten to the point where I love offending......it has become rather easy to do.....breathing soon will be offensive to the liberals.
