Bill Clinton makes personal appeal for Hillary

Bill Clinton delivered one of the most personal speeches of his career Tuesday in a heartfelt telling of his courtship and marriage to Hillary Clinton, painting a warm portrait of a candidate sometimes criticized as lacking personal appeal.

Clinton began with the day he met her in 1971 at Yale Law School in a civil rights class and their first conversation at the law library when Hillary introduced herself after she caught him staring at her.

Clinton talked about his efforts to capture her attention, standing in line with her to sign up for classes, even though he had already done so himself, and inviting her to walk with him to the campus art museum.

He interspersed their personal story with testimony about her dedication to public service, such as her work with underprivileged children in New Haven which became so consuming it required her to take an extra year to finish her studies.

saw the comments from Rachal Maddow--she actually got put in her place by Chuck Todd and others--gently but still ...

Just fished watching it. Powerful IMHO.
