Hillary Clinton flies with the traveling press corps for the first time

Source: CNN

(CNN)Hillary Clinton, after almost 17 months of campaigning, began flying with her campaign press corps Monday, boarding a newly campaign-branded Boeing 737 for the final sprint to Election Day.

Clinton boarded the plane at Westchester County Airport on Monday morning, headed for a series Labor Day events in Ohio and Illinois.

Clinton's plane -- which has previously flown for Air Berlin, OrenAir & Corendon Dutch Airlines -- was contracted by the campaign in the last month and is wrapped in Clinton's blue "H" logo and "Stronger Together," her general election campaign slogan.

Clinton's campaign aides said the plane was built in the United States and all modifications were done in Roswell, New Mexico and Amarillo, Texas.

Hillary's plane is bigger than Trump's plane, so she can take 42 members of the press along and he can only fit in a few.

That's okay. She can afford it.

great paint job! I hope all the press who complained will apologize as many times as they criticized about "access" to Hillary.

..is the beginning of the home stretch. Clinton's campaign is acting accordingly. She's kept a relative low profile to date, and smartly so. Most voters don't pay that much attention until the fall. And why stir the waters while your opponent is actively campaigning against himself? Well played, Madam Secretary. Now it's time to eviscerate his arse.

12. For some reason it's not big enough to hold more than a few reporters.

Both Clinton and Republican nominee Donald Trump had declined to get a plane big enough to fit traveling reporters for much of the campaign, instead opting to fly private and on their own.

Trump continues to fly on his own plane, which was on the ground at the Cleveland airport where Clinton landed Monday afternoon.

bullshit - the reporters whining endlessly about being unable to travel with Hillary but nary a stutter when it comes to Trump. Just like the latest that I heard on the radio (CBS affiliate) in the past 30 minutes about how Clinton "coughed" through much of her speech today. They couldn't describe the content of her speech because that's not "entertaining", so they describe the presentation of it. This is par for the media's course.

The 737-800, that Hillary is leasing, and set up for three classes, can hold 160, give or take.
The 757-200 that trump owns can hold 200 in 2 classes, give or take.

Except, Trump had the interior custom designed.
Check out the interior photos. :&gt )

Mainly because they're not talking heads who actually do their journalistic job and who don't sit around discussing gotchas' all day.

That's the pathetic part about our media. Some kid out of college after passing journalism will ask actual, meaningful questions about some policy proposal or whatever, but some idiotic talking head will spend zero amount of their time covering that part. Some asshole TMZ like journalist from one of the big networks asks a stupid leading question about a tired and played out meme, and it leads the news all fucking day long.

It's a fucking joke.
