Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump take the campaign back to late night TV

The presidential campaign is getting ready to return to late night TV, with both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump booking appearances on NBC’s “Tonight Show” this week and next, and other appearances expected to follow.

NBC announced Monday that Trump had been booked for the “Tonight Show” this Thursday, September 15. Clinton has been booked for Monday, September 19.

For both Trump and Clinton, it will be their first appearances on the program since January.
