As Clinton recuperates from pneumonia, which her campaign delayed in revealing, renewing widespread criticism about her level of transparency, the president returns to Philadelphia to campaign amid a rather busy stretch in his day job. He is expected to take on a more robust campaign schedule in October.

Obama just returned from week-plus trip to Asia for a series of international summits. Next week he’ll travel to New York for the United Nations General Assembly and host a summit on refugees. ....................

Polls show that if he could run again, he would defeat Trump easily. He is probably the best person to make the case for Hillary, especially for why we can trust her.

While reporters say Hillary waiting three days to reveal her pneumonia shows her continuing "lack of transparency," they let Don the Con off with a one page physical and no tax returns.

It feels like Bush against Gore, where the reporters had decided to beat on Gore for every fault -- real or imagined -- and let Bush glide by.

And he hasn't revealed a single policy yet. Lots of goals, lots of platitudes, no plans, and no policies. He was even asked during the Commander in Chief Forum about his policy for veterans and he directed people to his website! C'mon Donny, use those well-exercised talking muscles and reveal a position on something instead of vague insinuations that you've got a plan. You've got a great plan. The best plan. You've got the best plan. Everyone's saying your plan is the best. A lot of people are saying it, they're calling you up and saying what a great plan you've got. Believe it.

Well guess what, Donny. We fucking don't believe it. Not even a little.
