Gary Johnson takes out full-page ad to get into first debate

Libertarian presidential nominee Gary Johnson and running-mate Bill Weld have a proposal for the panel in charge of general election debates: Put a third podium on stage, let Johnson debate, and if his ticket doesn't meet subsequent criteria for debates the Libertarian ticket won't make a peep.

That's the argument Johnson and Weld are making in a full-page advertisement in The New York Times running on Wednesday. To qualify for the first debate on Sept. 26 the candidates have to average at least 15 percent in five national polls. A recent POLITICO analysis of those five polls found the Libertarian ticket averaging around 9.2 percent.

The full-page advertisement is written in the form of a letter to the Commission on Presidential Debates.

He should have done this jointly with Jill Stein; it wouldn't be any more likely to get him in the debate, but he'd only have to pay for half of the ad.

8. Lets see the Libertarians always want to "change" the rules

on everything.
Hell, they want to dismantle the public education system and make a for profit entity, if you got money you can go to school if you don't to F****ing bad.
Hell, they think this when it comes to unfettered and unrestricted competition among financial institutions as well as the elimination of the Internal Revenue Service, Social Security and income taxes.
