UPDATED: Trump Won't Release Medical Records In Interview With Dr. Oz After All
Source: Talking Points Memo
Donald Trump's campaign on Wednesday morning said that the candidate would not reveal his medical records during an interview with Dr. Mehmet Oz, despite the TV doctor's claim that he would analyze Trump's medical records on his show.
Campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks told CNN Money that Dr. Oz would not discuss the results of Trump's recent physical during the interview set to air Thursday, and instead would discuss the Republican nominee's health habits. NBC News reported that Trump's campaign planned to release his medical records "soon."
This comes after Oz said during Brian Kilmeade's Fox News radio show on Tuesday that he would analyze Trump's medical records in the interview, which was slated to be taped Wednesday morning. But Oz also told Kilmeade that he was "not going to ask him questions he doesnt want to have answered."
After Hillary Clinton's campaign announced that the Democratic nominee had pneumonia two days after she was diagnosed with it, Trump said Monday that his campaign would release information about his recent physical in the next few days.

UPDATE
TPM revised the headline of the article and some of the content; here are the new third through seventh paragraphs of the revised article:
Trump Camp Contradicts Dr. Oz Claim That He'll Analyze Trump Health Records
-snip-
During an interview on Fox News Wednesday morning, Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway confirmed that Trump will not release the results of his physical during his interview with Dr. Oz.
Fox Host Martha MacCallum asked Conway why the campaign will not release Trump's records on the show.
"On a TV show? I dont think that he should " Conway responded.
MacCalllum jumped in to ask, "But that was the original plan, wasn't it?"
"No," Conway replied."He was going to talk about the fact that he had a physical and what the results are or what the doctor may have told him to date."

Not one of the cable news stations is playing the newsweek article. Just the health crap and a short sidebar on the new york inquiry into the trump foundation.
Even in the top of the hour "breaking news" summary. NO mention of the newsweek article contents.
He will probably reverse himself again if anything else is dumped on him.

I just wonder if he his going to ask for the "audit" letter, that the dumpster has, saying that he is under "audit and for what year?
I mean that is a stress question, that a doctor can ask, and I just wonder if this "guy" can handle the pressure of the IRS and "all" of those charitable contributions that he supposedly has been giving out, maybe he can clarify what happened on CNN yesterday with Kellyanne & Alisyn Camerota.
I wonder if Dr. Oz can diagnose someone who is a habitual liar on tv, or does he think ratings are more important?
I say the latter, and I m no doctor

(1,254 posts)TRUMP IS OVERWEIGHT! Does he have an exercise routine or follows a moderate diet? From a visual analysis, Trump could be suffering from high cholesterol, high blood pressure. Susceptible to heart attack or stroke. SOOOOOOOO.....more than half the citizens of this country are at risk or ACTUALLY display the common traits that lead to chronic illness and certainly most over the age of sixty. But that does not mean Trump can't improve his health. Just modify his diet, adopt a routine exercise program. No one is going to be shocked or overly concerned if this is ALL that is revealed in Trump's health records. So what is it he is hiding?
TexasBushwhacker
(20,183 posts)Which means he has/had high cholesterol. Does he have underlying heart disease? He's clearly obese and out of shape. Hillary is overweight also, but her extra weight is mostly around her hips, which is less of a risk factor than the big belly that Trump has.

(56,828 posts)and, since he's hefty and eats fast foods, I'm guessing high cholesterol and blood pressure as well. Though, maybe he explodes on his family and his staff so frequently that it helps keep his blood pressure down.

Donald Trump Scraps Plan to Discuss Medical Exam

Donald J. Trump on Wednesday scrapped his previously announced plan to go over results from his most recent physical examination in a taped appearance with the television celebrity Dr. Mehmet Oz, aides to the Republican presidential nominee said.
Instead, Mr. Trump, 70, will appear on the Dr. Oz Show, but the two men will have a general discussion about health and wellness, not one anchored to the fitness of one of the two major candidates for president..............
In 2015, a group of doctors called on Columbia University Medical Center to remove Dr. Oz from its faculty members because of an egregious lack of integrity by promoting quack treatments and cures in the interest of personal financial gain. In particular, the doctors attacked what they called Dr. Ozs baseless and relentless opposition to the genetic engineering of food crops.
Dr. Oz defended himself on his show, noting that some of the protesting doctors had ties to a lobbying group for the genetically modified crop industry.
We will not be silenced, he said. We will not give in.

(23,975 posts)Trump, who knows nothing about anything, and has been seen by a GI specialist for 39 years, despite being in astonishingly good health, is going to go on television to not discuss his own health, with Dr. Oz, who, despite being in the very narrow specialty of cardiac surgery, thinks he knows everything about good health.
That oughta clear things right up.
