Photographer who took snap of boy standing up to anti-gay protestors has received death threats

This is the photo that made waves around the world earlier this month showing a 12-year-old who stood up to 11,000 protestors as they marched through Mexico in a protest against same-sex marriage.
The boy, who it later transpired later has a gay uncle, was pictured with his arms aloft begging the thousands to stop marching.
But the photographer who took the now iconic shot has now said that he has been subjected to homophobic abuse and even death threats.
Manuel Rodriguez said: I got a call on Tuesday calling me a faggot, telling me that Im going to pay for photographing the march.
