Another Miss Universe Contestant Says She Was Fat-Shamed By Donald Trump

Source: Huff Post

A second Miss Universe contestant has come forward to claim that she was fat-shamed by Donald Trump.

Jodie Seal, who was Miss Australia in the 1996 event, told Inside Edition that the future Republican presidential nominee called the girls “some pretty horrible names.”

“He said to me, ‘suck your stomach in, or suck your gut in,’” she recalled. “He always wanted us to be sexy.”

She also described him as “controlling.”

“He’d walk by while we were eating,” Seal said. “He put a lot of the girls down.”

Trump is currently embroiled in a controversy over one of Seal’s fellow competitors. Alicia Machado, who won the event as Miss Venezuela, said Trump called her “Miss Piggy” for gaining weight after winning, and “Miss Houskeeping” because of her Latina heritage.

Give each of the Miss Universe contestants a few seconds to tell their story of being abused by Trump.

25. Trump missed the Feminist movement entirely

I'm 68 years old and grew up in the world of men who acted just like Trump. Before women got together to create the Feminist movement we were talked to just like Trump still talks to women. Men felt not only completely free to remark on our looks but they also felt entitled to do so. Men, even ugly ones who no woman would look at twice felt they had the right to talk about women in denigrating ways and publicly.

Thankfully most men that are my age learned to keep their sexist thoughts to themselves. But there are some that truly resent having to do so, and you see them at the Trump rallies. As for the women who follow him, I can only surmise that they missed the Feminist movement too. They never learned to overcome the way they were brought up or the men who made them feel like lesser human beings.

perhaps not physically abused, but disrespected, put down, raised in a culture which demeans women.

Trump embodied this concept of expecting women he treated badly to put up with it--and deserving of it--with the comment he made about Rosie O'Donnell during the debate.

“Rosie O’Donnell, I said very tough things to her, and I think everybody would agree that she deserves it and nobody feels sorry for her,” Trump responded.

That is typical behavior of an abuser--to proclaim that the abused "deserves it".

I know a woman who actually was a national delegate and was quoted in the media saying why voters need to get behind Trump and vote for him.

These women must not have one shred of self-esteem or something.

Trump insults the women as if he's something for women to gawk at.

Honey, we're going to the tRump rally.
Dear, we're voting for tRump.

And of course these men are carbon copies of tRump, only without the vast resources he has. They envision themselves being rich like him someday, that's all that drives them.

pretty much be counted on to abuse people they have power over. Just look at what Trump did to Christie. We didn't know what power he had over him, but his constant public humiliating of Christie made it clear. And, of course, all these young women anxious to win his beauty contest.

But it's hardly all about women.

If Trump were president he would be in a position to enjoy his power over America, and using his power to abuse others, to show him and them that he can do that, is one of the major ways he would enjoy it.

It's a legitimate issue concerning his character and morals,
but it's a shame that it grabs many headlines over fundamental
issues

The Demagogue is trying to grab control of the government
so he can silence the press and stifle investigations into his
own scandals

Kind of cleaning up his own mess

Don't let him do it
