Trump Teams Memo Hints at Broad Shake-Up of U.S. Energy Policy
Source: Bloomberg Newsm
Advisers to President-elect Donald Trump are developing plans to reshape Energy Department programs, help keep aging nuclear plants online and identify staff who played a role in promoting President Barack Obamas climate agenda.
The transition team has asked the agency to list employees and contractors who attended United Nations climate meetings, along with those who helped develop the Obama administrations social cost of carbon metrics, used to estimate and justify the climate benefits of new rules. The advisers are also seeking information on agency loan programs, research activities and the basis for its statistics, according to a five-page internal document circulated by the Energy Department on Wednesday. The document lays out 65 questions from the Trump transition team, sources within the agency said.
On the campaign trail, Trump promised to eliminate government waste, rescind "job-killing" regulations and cancel the Paris climate accord in which nearly 200 countries pledged to slash greenhouse gas emissions. Trump, though, hasnt detailed specific plans for federal agencies. The document obtained by Bloomberg offers clues on where his administration may be headed on energy policy, based on the nature of questions involving the agencys research agenda, nuclear program and national labs.

(24,694 posts)that McConnell and his gang of traitors, had been sitting on information that Russia did a lot more damaged in the election, and that the traitor McConnell said that if Obama were to make the CIA information public that he would come out and say that it was partisan. This is not a partisan issue, this is a act of war from a foreign government
I saw what happened on t.v with Watergate, I saw on t.v the Iran/ Contra crap.
And I am so, pardon the expression pissed off, that a United States Senator basically told that White House, that if you said anything about this information from the CIA that state actor was meddling around in an election, that they would deny the information>
This just reinforces my belief that republicans should be barred from public office-----------------they do not give damn about this country.
I am so outraged that they knew before hand that it occurred and they knew when citizens where going to the polls and did not inform the people.
Mitch McConnell is a f***ing traitor, this is beyond e-mails and a private server

Trump is a puppet front man
He's not for change, or working people
He's the same old GOP
These policies are a death sentence for the entire planet, against
the will of the majority
Evil. It's a purge worthy of Joe Stalin's USSR. America did not vote
for radical change, he has no mandate with 45% of the vote

(23,091 posts)As long as it helps his companies, or those of people like the Kochs who will pay him $ to do this, he's in. What he doesn't give a shit about is health and survivability. He's too stupid and self-satisified to pay attention to any nuances of global warming. Of course, when it affects his property, like in Ireland, he's all about global warming and trying to get their government to intervene on his behalf. I hope his land in Miami is one of the first to be drowned, followed immediately thereafter by the golf course in Ireland. I hope Ireland doesn't spend one red cent on this monster.
