Electoral Vote Count: Trump Wins, Despite Objections from Democrats

Source: Heavy.com

President-Elect Donald Trump’s Electoral College win was confirmed during a joint session of Congress today, as all the electoral votes were counted live. However, multiple Democrat Representatives objected many times, citing voter suppression, Russian interference, and other issues. But each time, Biden had to dismiss their objections because they did not have a Senator to sign on with their objections, as is legally required. This happened multiple times, with Biden becoming increasingly annoyed each time.

Here’s what happened.

Time and time again during the joint session, Democrat Representatives objected to the electoral count. Each time, their objection was ruled out of order and inadmissible because they did not have a Senator to sign on with them. The objections have were first made for Alaska, Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. Rep. Jamie Raskin tried for Florida, but was unsuccessful because he did not have a Senator to sign on with him.

ETA: I consulted Webster's, and I see the misunderstanding. Your usage is correct, I misunderstood the poster's question, as I presumed he was asking about one thing, not the other. Jumped in without thinking it through, I did. I have used both terms, obviously the one incorrectly, so I defer to you.

WTF! Jellyfish have more spine! There wasn't ONE senator who could weigh in on this??? Yet another "swamp" to drain.

If Clinton had won on ineligible votes, you'd hear "LOCK HER UP!" from coast to coast.

...to at least delay the inauguration. Until we can sort out exactly what is going on with Russia, Wikileaks, the Trump foundation, Trump university, his undivested business interests, Ivanka at government meetings, why the sexual assault trial was dropped, influence peddling, the washington Trump hotel debacle, the golf course imbroglio, and the hundred other scandals enveloping Trump ALREADY.
This man cannot be inaugurated president!!!!

is totally without a President.

Don't care what anyone says, I won't acknowledge the RUMP with that title. Call it denial if you want, but he did not EARN the title, didn't even WIN it, much less legitimately. I will not legitimize this asswipe.

The US has NO President.

Russia just has a puppet.

Oh dear. Was Uncle Joe 'annoyed' by these childish monkeyshines?
Well, Joe, just imagine how WE feel.
We have seen at least two, maybe three, national elections STOLEN from the voters.
Yeah, we're a tad annoyed too.

and I think it was more that he had a dirty job to do and he wanted to get it over with. But what was telling was that smirky monkey Eddie Munster seated behind him, was beginning to wipe the smirk out of his eyes, because he knows that he's in for a rough ride. The fact that these protestors did what they did during a joint session of Congress means they will do it again and again. The GOP thought it was funny having one of their own do that to Obama, but I expect that they are about to be schooled in this part of the Constitution -

<...>

the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

This is why they have been talking about fining anyone doing periscope streams of Congressional sit-ins and rumors say even threatening to shut down the CSPAN cameras.
