Lawmakers broach possible Trump campaign coordination with Russia

Source: Politico

The comments come amid an explosive report about allegations of compromising information on the president-elect.
By AUSTIN WRIGHT and MARTIN MATISHAK 01/10/17 07:10 PM EST

And the intelligence panel's ranking member, Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.), said the committee's ongoing investigation into Russian meddling in the presidential election should look specifically at possible coordination between the presidential campaigns and the Russian government.

Warner said the committee probe should not seek to "re-litigate the results of the election" but that it must be "thorough."

"In my view, our committee investigation should focus on three broad areas," he said, before listing them: "The Russian hacking and release of stolen information; Russia's use of state-owned media and other means to amplify real and fake news to further their goal; and contact between the Russian government and its agents, and associates of any campaign and candidate."

Not unless actual proof turned up that Trump himself was involved in coordinating with Russia and even then to remove him from office would take the the Republicans in the House and Senate to vote yes to impeach him and considering the level of ethics they have shown us the past few years with their treatment of Obama I wouldnt bet a penny on them impeaching Trump for anything and I mean anything be it murder or even having sex with an underage Russian prostitute.

They might prefer a President Pence to a President Trump.

Not saying anything would be measurably better, except for with Pence we might be slightly less likely to die in a nuclear armageddon caused by a tweet.

all along if Trump was just a convenient front man who helped the GOP
steal the country and its assets

Now he's more liability than asset to them, so he could well be removed
from office. Won't they have great credibility if they impeach one of their own?

Putin does NOT like the orange gasbag. Is this a 1- 2 punch from him? Make dump squirm while he continues to twist America in knots, insight revolution. Now that he's elected can I get him unelected? And if the dumb f- ing repubs knew, why at this moment?

Somebody out there knows
