Intelligence agencies from around the world are investigating multiple reports that allege some connection between President-elect Donald Trump and the Russian government, according to Israeli intelligence officers who spoke to [link:https://www.buzzfeed.com/sheerafrenkel/spy-agencies-around-the-world-are-digging-into-trump-moscow?utm_term.kkm57xEQX#.urjV3jxL9BuzzFeed].

Last week, BuzzFeed published an unverified dossier that claimed the Russian government had material that could be used to blackmail Trump. The dossier claimed Russia had recordings of Trumps personal obsessions and sexual perversion. It was later revealed that the dossier had been compiled by Christopher Steele, a former member of the British intelligence agency MI6.

Intelligence agencies have reportedly been circulating several other reports regarding Trumps alleged ties to Russia.

There have been various reports about Trumps ties to Russia, an intelligence officer told BuzzFeed. The dossier is one of them, but there are others, they make other allegations. Some are more specific, and some are less. You can trust me that many intelligence agencies are trying to evaluate the extent to which Trump might have ties, or a weakness of some type, to Russia.

14. They could be setting Trump up

so they can impeach him in the next year and then they will have Mike Pence in the Oval Office, who will rubber-stamp all their legislation. Maybe this is why the investigations into the Trump-Russia affair hasn't gotten a lot of traction, yet.

I thought that the Israeli government (and to a substantial degree, the Israeli people) really hated Obama, and really liked Trump - that Trump was going to be their new best friend.

Are we now hearing that the Israeli government will not trust the man whom they apparently wanted so much to be elected?

It is very difficult to believe that Mossad and the Israeli government did not know about this (it has apparently been an open secret for at least months). This suggests that either Mossad is monumentally incompetent (very hard to believe), or that the Israeli government deliberately wanted this disaster visited upon the United States.
