Bill Kintner resignation
Bill Kintner, who's laughing now?

Bill Kintner, the married Nebraska state senator who made headlines last fall when he refused to resign after it was revealed he masturbated on a Skype call (using a state computer) with someone he met online and the online mistress tried to extort $4,500 or release the video, is once again making headlines. During the Women’s March on Washington, Kintner took to Twitter to retweet a photo of three women holding signs that had messages about “pussy grabbing” not being acceptable. Thinking he was a comedian, Kintner tweeted (and later deleted) the photo with the caption, “Ladies, I think you’re safe.” Get it? Hahaha. So funny. Sexual assault joke and making fun of these women’s appearances — it was a two-fer!.................

I remember hearing Poppy Bush - who was pushing 80 and already beginning to slip mentally - regale a NAFTA anniversary dinner with a similar anecdote.

"I was about to step out of my limousine," he said in his typically effete tone, "when a couple of women protesters came up to the door - and these women were, how can I put this delicately, just ugly."

"They were holding up signs saying "Hands Off My Vagina!" - and I thought: you got it!"

The cameras cut off that instant.

When she took office, famously, she created a media circus around the fact that Nancy had a make-up room in the upstairs living quarters, and about how she was turning it into a nursery for Millie's puppies (remember that?).

She was also said to be the one behind Nancy's tax problems with the diamond-studded, million-dollar Adolfo dress - which, to be fair, Nancy brought on herself.

Meow!

and Bush's was pretty well known at the time. The Reagans all but ignored the bush's and that was barbara striking back.

One can, after all, have good reasons to be vindictive - and both ladies certainly had some: Barbara had the reasons you mentioned above; and Nancy had the pretty undeniable fact that the scheming Poppy Bush tried to bump Reagan off using his friends the Hinckleys' autistic son.

Luckily for Mrs. Bush she had a real talent for presenting herself as the sweet old-fashioned, cookie-baking grandmother many of us remember having. Nancy, alas, did not.

to really respect Nancy. I've seen alzheimers and her dedication to him until he died was something I found very inspirational. I know she had plenty of paid help, so did my aunt, but I also know how incredibly hard it was to watch someone just fade away day by day until someone who knew you your entire life had no idea who you were. It's heartbreaking.

The only time I've ever cried at the sight of anything having to do with Reagan, was that moment she broke down in front of his casket.

I well up a little just thinking about that.

I merely meant to point out some of the hypocrisy of a man who, like so many GOP politicians, made his career out of being the "family values" candidate while not conforming to that concept himself.

He's a lot like his pal and fellow Bonesman and Bohemian Grove regular, William F. Buckley: much better suited to the theater than to politics.

He's ALL ABOUT making America great again!

We can FEEL the morality exuding from him (or perhaps exploding like pus from a giant zit).

Isn't it nice to know that under Trump and his evil administration, women everywhere will step into a brave new world (or perhaps be forced back into a world of servitude as human chattel).

While at the same time, other dRumpf supporters were busy yelling at marchers to 'get a job', so they thought those marchers were dRumpf's 'enemies'.

Consistency isn't their strong suit. Or they're amazingly consistent in their lack of consistency, when dealing with unpleasant reality.

And all reality is unpleasant to them.

@RepStevenSmith

I was rather surprised and offended an actual congressman in our government would share such trashy snark.

This guy is basically a right wing POS. If you glance at his twitter, you can see, he loves to tweet. A major twit.
