Conway: Lifting Russia Sanctions 'Under Consideration'

Kellyanne Conway confirmed Friday that lifting sanctions placed on Russia by the Obama administration was "under consideration" ahead of a planned call between President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart this weekend.

In a conversation with “Fox & Friends," Trump's counselor was asked about a call reportedly planned between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin for Saturday.

Host Brian Kilmeade asked Conway if sanctions placed against Russia by the Obama administration would be "on the table right away.”

“All of that is under consideration,” Conway replied.

Kilmeade interjected to ask if Russia would have to “change their behavior” for such sanctions to be lifted, seemingly referring to Russian aggression in Ukraine, and to Syria.

“Like not carving up other countries and not destroying, you know, families and towns indiscriminately like they are doing in Syria,” he said.

Conway skirted around the question.

You know he's super pissed that congress is trying to stop him from repealing the sanctions, so he will push them very hard and very soon. Think Repugs are too chickenshit to do the right thing and pass the measure that any removal of sanctions has to have their approval to take effect, but hoping there's enough (faint hope) that aren't true traitors.

Wonder what else he's going to ask Putin to do for him on top of getting him elected before he'll lift the sanctions when they make their call Saturday. There's probably a few people he wants to get rid of, and a few organizations he wants to cripple before he tells congress he'll sign off on lifting the sanctions - now that he's sitting in the big boy chair in the round office with his new toy.
It's just a matter of how much patience Putin has.

Drumpf the cheat and liar always re-negotiates the others on his contracts after the promised work is done so he can get more profit off it - that's all part of his famous "Art of the Deal" schtick.
