McConnell: Let The Courts Decide If Trump's Travel Ban 'Has Gone Too Far'

Source: Talking Points Memo

By ESME CRIBB Published JANUARY 29, 2017, 11:00 AM EDT

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said Sunday morning that "the courts are going to determine" whether President Donald Trump's executive order banning refugees and immigrants from certain countries from entering the United States has "gone too far."

"I think it's a good idea to tighten the vetting process," McConnell said on ABC's "This Week."

"But also then it's important to remember that some of our best sources in the war against radical Islamic terrorism are Muslims, both in this country and overseas," he added. "And we have had some difficulty in the past getting interpreters, as you mentioned in the earlier segment, who are helpful to us, treated properly."

"And yet right now they're being detained, so do you support this or do you not support this?" Martha Raddatz asked.

No. Comrade McTurtle has a black belt in "weathervane." He'll do only what he needs to do for HIS political survival, and at the time of HIS choosing.

I hope every single one of these no balls wonders get slammed on social media and called the cowards they are. There needs to be MASSIVE protests and demonstrations at all these lawmakers offices and homes. Show them America is NOT going to take this happy horseshit!

"But also then it's important to remember that some of our best sources in the war against radical Islamic terrorism are Muslims, both in this country and overseas," I can't believe he'd even say anything the least bit contradictory to Trump. He's my senator, (goddammit!). I at least get a canned answer back when I email Ryan (and unfortunately, put on his mailing list). From McConnell, no response.

I actually find this a bit encouraging. If we can get even a little twinkle from the hard-core's, maybe the tide will start turning.

but not until they are either through plundering the country while our attention is elsewhere, or P45 starts getting in the way of them plundering further.

I want to kick this treacherous fuckweasel in the balls so hard that his ugly little turtle neck would retreat so far into his torso that the pointy tip of my cowboy boots would be sticking out the tip of his lying little mouth.

But that would be wrong.

Besides condoning assault, there's the bigger problem: ever since my arches fell and I need orthotics, I no longer wear cowboy boots.
