Former National Security Adviser Susan Rice on Sunday blasted President Trump for his order making changes to the National Security Council (NSC).

"This is stone cold crazy. After a week of crazy," the former Obama administration official tweeted.

"Who needs military advice or intell to make policy on ISIL, Syria, Afghanistan, DPRK?"

10. One of the articles that I read about her

said that one of her dreams was to be the first U.S. Senator from D.C., so she is obviously not averse to running for office. If she stayed in D.C. and Eleanor Holmes Norton decided not to run at some point, she could step up. Otherwise, she could always establish a residency in MD or VA (if she is not already there now) and go for it.

Also on the statehood issue, I understand that a deal was floated that if D.C. got rid of their gun control measures, them some GOPers might help with statehood. But knowing how they operate, it would have been a Lucy/Charlie Brown football moment where they would have reneged if D.C. had gone along with their end of the bargain and as it is, D.C. didn't want strings attached.
