Source: Omaha World Herald

By Martha Stoddard

LINCOLN — A federal judge on Tuesday tossed out Nebraska’s challenge of federal rules requiring employer health insurance to cover contraceptives.

U.S. District Judge Warren Urbom dismissed the lawsuit, saying that none of the plaintiffs had standing to sue.

The case was filed by Nebraska Attorney General Jon Bruning and attorneys general for six other states.

The plaintiffs also included Catholic Social Services, Pius X High School of Lincoln and the Catholic Mutual Relief Society of America.
