Mitt Romney Aide Promises Crackdown On Porn

Source: Huff Post

Republican Mitt Romney insists his No. 1 job is fixing the economy but a former Reagan administration anti-porn prosecutor says the candidate's campaign has assured him that he also will "vigorously" crack down on pornographers if he is elected president.

Patrick Trueman, a former head of the Justice Department's Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section and now the head of Morality in Media, told the conservative Daily Caller that he was quietly promised that fighting porn will be a top priority in a Romney White House.
¬snip¬

Romney has promised that if elected president he would require every new computer be sold with a porn filter.

Despite those tough words, Romney's campaign has taken campaign cash from the head of a company that produces hard-core pornography. And gay porn filmmaker Michael Lucas, who has endorsed Romney, told the Daily Caller, “I don’t see any danger coming from Romney when it comes to porn. It’s just not there."

Thu Jul 19, 2012, 10:55 PM
Jul 2012

There are thousands (probably millions) of small businesses who build PCs, customize factory-built PCs and otherwise work on PCs. The size of the police force Romney will need to ensure all those businesses are putting porn filters into every computer they make, and shipping the computers with the porn filters turned on, will make Nicolae Ceaucescu's vagina police force look like a couple of guys in a corner police box.

And you KNOW these aren't going to be the kind of porn filters you can remove easily; because I don't want a porn filter on my computer nor do I want to pay for one, wouldn't this also be an intrusion into my freedom of choice?

And furthermore, did you ever notice that the Republican party's vaunted belief in freedom disappears when it comes to a picture of two people having sex?

baka ...stupid
baka tare.. Complete Idiot / Moron
baka yaro, which means Stupid bastard.
Aho is dumbass..(Aho is a Kansai ben word, Kansai district)
I don't like: baka buso (Idiot Bitch/ Stupid Bitch)
(buso can mean also ugly woman)

All these words are offensive in Japan. Some more than others. While calling someone stupid in America is mildly offensive
its not as offensive as it would be, if you lived in Japan.

son na baka na - This is stupid.
Baka is not a bad word in and of itself. You can say "baka dekai " which means extremely large.
The word is widely used in conversation and, while derogatory, is not taboo.
It is more common in Tokyo and other parts of eastern Japan.

I worked with a MSgt who knew Japanese and the indiginous Okinawan language quite well, spending most of his Air Force 26 years there. In some ways he reminded me of the Magnum PI character Higgins. But I digress. Iasked him once about umm unpolite terms and got a "only ugly Americans and Yakusa talk like that" speech.
Thanks for the lesson.

Japanese is a language based on levels of politeness. I can tell you an interesting story. I met a guy in a chat room once, who spoke Japanese, but I found what he said very rude and extremely crude. I asked him where he learned Japanese? He said he learned it from watching Naruto (an Anime) and was excited about going to Japan shortly.

I warned him, that the language used in anime can sometimes be considered crude and rough. He would do better to take formal classes and learn Japanese in the proper way.

He said "Nahhhh..I can't afford classes, and besides I know enough, I will get by splendidly."

I said the language you are using might get you a punch in the nose. Its not polite language, (Plus he was using a word from the Naruto Anime that was entirely made up by the creators! It wasn't a real Japanese word. He would be laughed at for even using such a word in public.)

He got very hostile and told me, He didn't buy anything I said, and would prove it to me, when He got back from Japan!!!

I told him, "its up to you, but if you use that kind of language...well, its only going to get you in trouble."

The thing is...He never came back to my chat room, so... I don't know how his experience went.

I could only guess that he probably insulted everyone he met, and you know, the Japanese people hate rudeness and arrogance. If he wasn't on his knees apologizing, he was probably in a hospital some where being attended for his wounds.
