Fox News pulls Judge Napolitano over his Trump wiretap claims
Source: Los Angeles Times
Fox News senior judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano is being kept off the air indefinitely amid the controversy over his unverified claims that British intelligence wiretapped Trump Tower at the behest of former President Obama.
Fox News did not respond to inquiries about Napolitano’s status Monday. Napolitano was conspicuously missing from the network’s coverage of the confirmation hearings on Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch — an event in which he typically would have played a significant role. He has not been on the air since Thursday. People familiar with the situation who could speak only on the condition of anonymity said Napolitano is not expected to be on Fox News Channel any time in the near future. Napolitano was not available for comment. On March 4, President Trump first tweeted the accusation that Obama ordered his “‘wires tapped’ in Trump Tower just before the victory.” Read more: http://www.latimes.com/business/hollywood/la-fi-ct-napolitano-fox-news-20170320-story.html I believe the phrase you're looking for is: "a very talented legal mind".

9. They are doing what they usually do, they plant a story that they know is bogus via one of their
"guests" and then they let what they plant grow while keeping the "guest" off the air for a bit so as to keep their "guest" from spoiling the crop they are raising via the planted story with to much extra fertilizer.

7. Maybe not unrelated: "Fox takeover bid for Sky to be reviewed"
{UK} Culture Secretary Karen Bradley has asked regulators to examine Rupert Murdoch's 21st Century Fox's takeover bid for Sky.
In a statement to parliament, she told MPs that media regulator Ofcom and competition regulator, the CMA, would be asked to investigate the deal. 21st Century Fox is offering £11.7bn for the 61% stake in Sky it does not already own. ... The case for Rupert Murdoch's previous takeover bid for Sky was undermined by the revelation that the voicemail of the 13 year-old murdered Milly Dowler's had been hacked, by the News of the World, a Murdoch newspaper. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-39292653 |
