Trump administration reviewing 'extreme vetting' policies: report

Source: The Hill

President Trump’s administration is reviewing ways to enact the “extreme vetting” practices that often mentioned during his campaign, The Wall Street Journal reported.

Administration officials told the newspaper they are evaluating whether to require foreign nationals who visit the U.S. to divulge cell phone contacts and passwords for social networking websites.

“If there is any doubt about a person’s intentions coming to the United States, they should have to overcome — really and truly prove to our satisfaction — that they are coming for legitimate reasons,” a counselor to Department of Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly told the Journal.

Possible alterations to the visa process could affect citizens from countries like France and Germany, the newspaper noted.

This is likely to lead to reciprocal restrictions for American travelers, to which Trump supporters will say: "so what, we don't travel abroad anyway."

When Delta and American and United do this nazi questioning of fliers, people will stop flying their airlines. Only the terrorists really get through, the innocents are the ones getting their family ripped apart.

If "Muslim" sounding names arrive in America, they are entitled to American justice and that means 4th Amendments. Are these people that fucking stupid?

Every day this freaking asshole finds another way to fuck over me and my family. Our son-in-law is Brazilian, so my daughter and he go there every year to visit family and his mother spends an entire month with them every year. She doesn't speak English except for a few words and is very shy and nervous. She would just melt down if they started pushing on her. Plus, what are their travels going to cost them now, the Visa for Brazil is already $300 as is. Are they going to start hassling Henrique because he has a green card? Sheesh. I really hate, hate, hate all the violence and harm he's perpetrating on the American worker, mainly to act out on his inbred hatred of anyone not straight white male and also very important to him to enrich the 1% at the expense of said workers.
