U.S. drone kills 12 suspected militants in Pakistan

Source: Reuters

MIRANSHAH, Pakistan | Mon Jul 23, 2012 3:59pm EDT

(Reuters) - U.S. drone aircraft struck a militant hideout in northwest Pakistan near the border with Afghanistan on Monday, killing at least 12 suspected militants, Pakistani intelligence officials said.

The drones fired several missiles at a compound in the Shawal area of the North Waziristan tribal region. Two suspected militants were wounded in the strike, officials added.

Shawal is a remote area of forested ridges and valleys that spreads out on both sides of the border and has long been known as a haven for militants from Pakistan, Afghanistan and beyond.

And they were all suspected militants?

I guess those militants all camp out together -sort of like a camping trip for boys, huh?

No wives or kids allowed, right? And it couldn't possibly be the case that they are identified as "suspected militants" AFTER they are killed, right?

I mean, it's not like they would track ONE guy and then send a few missiles into a house at night and then, later, decide that everyone killed was a "suspected militant". Right?

It said that all people killed by drones were labeled "enemy combatants", whether they were or not is another issue. The military figures that since they are with the militants they too must be up to no good, so to speak.

are as interested in this killing of 12 -- done in our name, with similar killings weekly if not daily -- as they are in the killing of 12 people here.

then it never happened, and anyone who brings it up (or even worse, finds similarities to the previous administration) has an anti-Obama agenda who wants Mitt Romney to win.

Everybody knows the most dangerous terrorists are usually very young, like, say,
only 2 or 3, maybe 4 or 5, years old.

I know that seems young, but it's the really young ones that are
the most militant and bloodthirsty.

Some of these moslem toddlers are really scary.

Next, they'll be coming for YOU

It is good to know that we now live in a nation where the government can kill anyone, any where, for any reason, without a trial, or proof, or evidence. Being 'suspected' is sufficent grounds for the death penalty. I love Big Brother (please dont suspect me)
