Corey Stewart Declares Va. State of Robert E. Lee, Stonewall Jackson; Confederate Flag Not Racist

Source: Blue Virginia

At the “Old South Ball” in Danville, Virginia Republican (of course) gubernatorial candidate Corey Stewart declares Virginia the state of Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson, declares that “I’m proud to be next to the Confederate flag,” and claims the Confederate flag is “not about racism…hatred…slavery…it’s time that we embrace [our heritage].” So…does the Virginia GOP agree with this crap? Does it condemn it? Silence? What’s the deal?

Here’s what William Thompson said about the Confederate flag, and we should listen, since he was the one who created not only its design but its symbolism and purpose. Here he is quoted in the book Our Flag, by George Preble:

“As a people we are fighting to maintain the heavenly ordained supremacy of the white man over the inferior or colored race; a white flag would thus be emblematical of our cause."

If this is not convincing to you, consider what the Vice President of the Confederate government said in the Cornerstone Address, specifically addressing America’s belief that all men are created equal:

“Our new Government is founded upon exactly the opposite ideas; its foundations are laid, its cornerstone rests, upon the great truth that the negro is not equal to the white man; that slavery, subordination to the superior race, is his natural and normal condition." ~ Alexander Stephens

It is vitally important to counter the adage that "it's just about heritage, not racism."

I can take you to my great-great grandfather's grave in GA with a CSA headstone. I did not know where it was until I was grown. I would never display or own that flag. I did not know Grandpa Cook and do not know his circumstance, but am sure he was not a slave owner and probably not even a landowner. I am neither ashamed or proud, it is just what it was.

These people who glory in that flag and fake "heritage" are racists, even though they may pretend they are not. I have lived in three states, GA, TN and SC and there are idiots like that in all three. But there are plenty in the midwest also.

the Cucked Working Class that supports Rich Plantation Owners. Just like today, these Cucks still carrying water for Millionaires & Billionaires against their own best wishes. The Confederacy should have been brutally dealt with after the war. Jeff Davis, Bobbie Lee, & the rest of the leadership should have been stripped of all wealth & hung from a noose.
