White House senior adviser Kellyanne Conway on Monday suggested that Hillary Clinton and Democratic Party leaders should condemn violence at protests against President Donald Trump.

“It’s very disturbing,” Conway said on “Fox and Friends.” “I would love to hear Democratic leaders of the party, instead of still talking about the election, move forward and help us negotiate.”

She then cited Trump’s victory in the electoral college, an upset win the President has touted several times since his inauguration amid his administration’s failure to enact any other big-ticket policy.

“You have people still trying to make it go away, and this is the President. This is the people’s house. This is their government,” Conway said.

I really do. Right now they basically have nothing. And they know it. They know that so far the pResidency has been a failure. They couldn't repeal Obamacare, they haven't done one thing on tax reform, they know that the infrastructure bill will be very hard to accomplish. The Trump base is very much into isolationalism and anti-world policing which Trump has flip-flopped recently. BIG protests are happening like this past weekend. The very Trump supporters who are sitting around waiting for new coal and manufacturing jobs are still waiting. They are still waiting for healthcare for all as Trump was quoted saying. The WALL is basically stuck in the mud with Congress not sure they will approve it, 10,000 ranchers in Texas opposed to it, bad PR with Americans who will end up walled off into Mexico basically.

I agree we should condemn the violence perpetrated at these protests. I watched quite a few videos of the Berkeley violence and some stuff was really wrong there. It will certainly impact middle of the road voters. One scene showed someone on the left smack a Trump supporter on the back of the head with a rock or something, while he was walking away. Dude started bleeding pretty bad. We should condemn the violence and disassociate ourselves from the anarchists just making trouble. I know there was plenty of violence from the other side as well and fighting back is one thing. However we should not be instigating it.
