Ryan to campaign with Republican in Georgia House runoff: report

Source: MSN/The Hill

Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) will head to Georgia to campaign alongside GOP candidate Karen Handel in the much-watched House special election, Politico reported Wednesday.

Ryan will stump alongside Handel sometime in the next few weeks, a Ryan political aide told Politico Wednesday.

Handel will face off against Democrat Jon Ossoff in a June runoff to fill the seat of Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price.

Democrats had hopes Ossoff would be able to clinch 50 percent of the vote in a Tuesday "jungle primary" and win the seat outright, but fell below the mark. Handel received about 20 percent of the vote, but was up against a crowded field of GOP competitors.

We should get Bernie, Cory Booker, John Lewis, Joe Biden and Julian Castro down there.

sending the one guy that's more toxic than Trump to Georgia to help. Not a sound strategy. Ossoff might still lose, but it will not have anything to do with Ryan's presence in Georgia. That would be,because of the influx of republican money and the partisan tradition of the area.

from the orange shit-gibbon, at least during the run-off. Whether she'll call upon the mad-bomber to "help" her remains to be seen.
What we need is the orange shit-gibbon's and Ryan's egos clashing during her campaign. Get Mr. Tiny Hands tweeting in the wee hours of the morning, and Ryan..........doing the dumb shit Ryan does. Get Trump's ego twisted in a knot like it was with Bannon, and we've probably won that seat. Now......to come up with some good title to give Ryan that will challenge tRUMP's authority. I'll have to sleep on it.
If we can turn this contest into a vote on Trump's popularity and effectiveness, this might turn into a glorious day for Democrats and Independents. tRUMP loses every bit of restraint he possesses (and that ain't much!) when he's fighting with a fellow GOPer. Driving a stake into tRUMP'S heart certainly would feel righteous as well!

Send the most hated politician in the country down there. Bladder infections are more popular than this weasel.

will have fun with that. And don't forget that Ossoff is young and fit. He will make Ryan look like an old man.

She needs to lose enough wealthy educated Republicans for Ossoff to win. And of course our people need to be energized and excited.
