Hawaii fires back at Jeff Sessions after he called the state 'an island in the Pacific Ocean'

Hawaii lawmakers are firing back at US Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who slammed a Hawaii federal judge who blocked the latest version of President Donald Trump's travel ban.

Sessions referred to Federal Judge Derrick Watson in Hawaii, as "a judge sitting on an island in the Pacific" during an appearance on The Mark Levin Show, CNN reported on Thursday.

Sessions said the travel ban was "clearly" in Trump's "statutory and Constitutional power."

. . .

"Our federal courts, established under article III of the Constitution, are co-equal partners with Congress and the President. It is disappointing AG Sessions does not acknowledge that," Chin's statement read.

He feels entitled to always win, regardless!

Sessions has no fucks to give about anyone but himself and his cronies.

Since Pearl and statehood, I doubt anyone has questioned Hawaii's place in our union.

It's obvious Sessions wouldn't understand what "Book'em Danno" means and never watched Magnum P.I.. That was when America met Hawaii in living color. This guy has to go!

Lock him up!

and USA reporting that this "guy" and his family has over 250 million in properties up for sale, and how someone can pad these sales, without any knowledge of where these monies are coming from because of the LLC moniker behind the transactions hides on who they are--------I hope SNL has a bit on this , it maybe funny but it will be eye opening for a lot of people that are tracking SNL right now.

Cokie Roberts on Obama's vacation: "I know his grandmother lives in Hawaii and I know Hawaii is a state," but it looks "foreign, exotic"

On the August 10 edition of ABC's This Week, ABC News political analyst Cokie Roberts criticized Sen. Barack Obama -- who was born in Hawaii -- for "going off this week to a vacation in Hawaii," which she said "does not make any sense whatsoever." Roberts stated: "I know his grandmother lives in Hawaii and I know Hawaii is a state, but it has the look of him going off to some sort of foreign, exotic place." Roberts continued: "He should be in Myrtle Beach, and, you know, if he's going to take a vacation at this time."

Just as with his assessment of Hawaii, (an island in the Pacific) technically true, but missing all of the really important details.

I'm guessing Sessions just isn't a details boy...

If Sessions can insult Hawaii by dismissing it as a mere "island in the Pacific," I can certainly feel free to claim Sessions is nothing more than an "Ugly Little Shrimp With A Law Degree."
