Trump calls 100-day assessment "ridiculous"

Source: CBS News

President Trump on Friday tweeted about the first 100-day marker for presidential administrations, which he will hit on April 29.

Mr. Trump called the idea of the first 100 days “ridiculous,” but then emphasized that he has accomplished “a lot” during this period so far. He seemed to name the Supreme Court as one major achievement, with the confirmation of Justice Neil Gorsuch to the bench.

On Fox News, Mr. Trump’s adviser Kellyanne Conway spoke about his first 100 days.

“I think the president deserves an A for his ability to tackle all the issues and to tackle complex problems and to see what he has inherited here domestically and internationally. And look, we’re making progress on things that don’t change overnight. He’ll be here for eight years.”

No matter how much I accomplish during the ridiculous standard of the first 100 days, & it has been a lot (including S.C.), media will kill!

The one accomplishment the pundits keep touting is Gorsuch. However, that was strictly McConnell who engineered the entire thing, including keeping the seat open as a campaign issue which helped cement votes for "whatever" the Republicans nominated.

AS IF, he'd been a yooge success. NOT even one tiny little bit. Here's the real scorecard:
FAIL - Having his travel ban blocked twice and still on ice due to his bigotry and it makes no sense
Fail - He said he was in final phases of locking down healthcare at the end of the campaign and 100
days later his first plan has been stomped in the dust. Now he claims there's "how do I kill
you, part deux" just around the corner. Only Repugs in the House say they are nowhere near
getting a bill that will pass. So this is really 2 Fails in 1.
Fail - Said he was moving from healthcare to taxation, only realized he has to steal $ from the poor
to give to the rich and had to go back to healthcare only he's too stupid, mean, hateful and
disengaged to pay any attention to the details or to try to gin up support.
Fail - Said a yooge warship was directly steaming towards NK only it was going in the entirely
different direction and wasn't intended to go to NK at all. It took him days and days to realize
the truth, that once again his government was lying in full view. to save face, he ordered it to
turn around and go to NK.
Fail - He said his healthcare plan would provide insurance for everyone. Instead it cut off 24 million
and the plan he's back now would end protections from pre-existing.
Fail - He's now threatening Dems with withholding $ from ACA so it falls apart unless Dems agree to
his plan. Only he's such a poor negotiator, he's giving the Dems nothing at all except a
chance to take the blame for his stealing their healthcare. Nope, Dems can't stop him, but they
won't be included in his healthcare killing plan. He's the one that will take the blame, he and
Repugs running for office in mid-terms.
Fail - He said he'd call China a "currency manipulator", China gave trademarks to his daughter and
son and now they are good folks and not currency manipulators.
Fail - He signed an Executive Order that companies have to use US steel, then immediately exempted
a company he's invested in from the order.
Fail - Said he'd have the most transparent regime er. administration ever, it's the totally least.
Fail - Said he didn't know anyone in Russia and had no contact with him and instead he colluded with
them to steal the election for himself.
He's just one big lumpy ugly gooey vat of failure as holder of the office and as a person. .

After all,

"I think we’ve had one of the most successful 13 weeks in the history of the presidency!" - The Great Orange Demagogue, April 6, 2017.

And when you can do THAT in only 10 1/2 weeks, 'ya gotta' be great, amiright?

To nominate a supreme court pick that was provided to him in a list from the Heritage Foundation

What - he had to pick someone on the list - and then talk to them?
Cause - the rest is easy with control of both houses of congress.

Wow - dont strain your wig - Asshole!

He did accomplish a lot in a short period of time, but none of it good. I don't think any president has created so much chaos and fear in such a short period time. Travel bans, deportations, missiles, special ops raid, bombs and misplacing an "armada". Also no president has spent as much tax-payer money on vacations and golf in 100 days.

In a sense, one might say he is an over achiever!

I think that the source is FDR but things have changed, really.

Though I suppose that had he got all his wishes he probably would have crowed about it.

It is not about him, really, is it about a responsible presidency.

Trump’s claim that ‘no administration has accomplished more in the first 90 days’
................
The Pinocchio Test

It’s rather silly for any president to suggest that his first 100 days somehow topped Roosevelt’s achievement. Lyndon B. Johnson, Ronald Reagan and Obama are credited with significant legislative achievements early in their first terms, but much of their success generally came after the first 100 days. Trump would be well advised to not make such a big deal about this because the available evidence shows that he in no way comes close to matching FDR’s record.
