Trump Announces Plans To Hold 'BIG' Rally On His 100th Day In Office

Source: Talking Points Memo

By ESME CRIBB Published APRIL 22, 2017, 12:37 PM EDT

President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that he will hold a “BIG” rally on April 29 on the 100th day of his presidency, which he will likely reach with no notable pieces of legislation to his name.

“Look forward to it!” Trump tweeted.

Also taking place on April 29 is the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

In a tweet posted early Friday, Trump called the landmark date a “ridiculous standard.”

Trump: 'I Think We're In Great Shape' To Avoid Government Shutdown Next Week

By ESME CRIBB Published APRIL 22, 2017, 12:08 PM EDT

President Donald Trump on Friday said that efforts to avoid a government shutdown are “going very well.”

“Now, we have government not closing. I think we’ll be in great shape on that, it’s going very well,” Trump said in an interview with the Associated Press. “Obviously that takes precedent.”

Trump said he has “a great relationship” with all the “various groups” in the Republican party.

“There’s a pretty vast area in there,” he said. “All great people. They’re great people.”

If the last person who spoke to him was somebody like PM May of the UK, he says he's behind NATO 100%.
If the last person was somebody like Bannon, he says NATO is obsolete.

If tRump is speaking to coal miners he says he's going to bring back coal mining jobs.
If tRump is speaking to CEOs he says he's going to run government like a business.
If tRump is speaking to supporters at a rally he says he's going to kill NAFTA to bring back manufacturing jobs.

The vast majority of Americans are not welcome. He surrounds himself with only those who adore him, so as not to let reality creep into the festivities and spoil the party.
What are they celebrating? He's done NOTHING! He's missed all of his '30 day promises', along with all of his 'first 100 day promises'.
I keep hoping that one of these Trump loyalty celebrations is only half full, but you KNOW his loyal toadies would drag winos off the street rather than have one empty seat at one of his "Aren't I Great?" ego stroking sessions. Has there ever been another President that threw so many parties for himself? Has there ever been a President that threw ONE party for himself?
Other than signing a slew of Executive Orders, and bombing what turned out to be an empty parking lot in Syria, exactly WHAT has he accomplished? I wish a Trumptard could tell me, but they invariably start talking about deporting "illegals" and that's usually the extent of their list of magnificent deeds accomplished by the Frito Bandito.
