Or read some briefs. Or clean their cats' litter boxes. Anyhow, they had scheduling conflicts.

the SCOTUS justices, especially after that disastrous, word salad-filled debacle of an interview today.

His incompetence/early dementia would be easily seen by the justices and things could cascade from there with discreet calls to House and Senate leaders that action needs to be taken.

IMO the only reason she is in the White House is to look after trump.

Sure Trump can wine and dine the worlds leaders but could not host all the justices all at once they would crucify him before Trump finished his word salad.

Trump in a room with several of the top lawyers in the country? I'm thinking that wouldn't put him in the best light. Although I'm sure they'd hold their fire. It wouldn't be very sporting to pick on the mentally challenged over dinner.

he would be taken to the curb by Ruth Bader Ginsberg at the dinner table. He wouldn't be able to shield his father-in-law from his expected idiocy in front of the Justices.

Who would think having the Supreme Court over for dinner was a good idea? They will be hearing cases prosecuted/defended by his administration. If a DA had the trial judge over for dinner, that would likely be grounds for misconduct, mistrial or reversal on appeal.

What was going to happen? Was Trump going to tell them all about how the Muslim ban was misunderstood? It's mind-boggling.
