Exclusive: Trump says 'major, major' conflict with North Korea possible, but seeks diplomacy

Source: Retuers

" President Donald Trump said on Thursday a major conflict with North Korea is possible in the standoff over its nuclear and missile programs, but he would prefer a diplomatic outcome to the dispute.

"There is a chance that we could end up having a major, major conflict with North Korea. Absolutely," Trump told Reuters in an Oval Office interview ahead of his 100th day in office on Saturday".

Nonetheless, Trump said he wanted to peacefully resolve a crisis that has bedeviled multiple U.S. presidents, a path that he and his administration are emphasizing by preparing a variety of new economic sanctions while not taking the military option off the table.

"We'd love to solve things diplomatically but it's very difficult," he said."

Trump just made the most foolish, incendiary statement any president has ever made about a country run by a paranoid trigger happy dictator who has vowed to make the first strike, and he has nukes. Trump's is going to get us all killed...he is the most stupid president ever to occupy the White House. God help us.

When the dump tax plan was released, I heard one guy interviewed on MSNBC (or clip played thereon; sorry, can't remember who it was) saying that the only way to get the economic growth forecast by munchkin was to go to war.

OTOH, I remain convinced that dump periodically feels the need to just scare the h*ll out of the 'Murican people--it's a strategery to keep the populace frightened and then relieved when he doesn't actually start WWIII that week. Bullies gotta bully. Once a thug,...

so everyone will "come together to defend the country." And get our attention off of stuff like how inept and evil this administration is. I understand they all get that "deer in the headlight" look every time Gen. Flynn is mentioned now. So let's let it fly till we get all the information we need to get them all out of office. Note how Dump is trying to trash other branches of the government that attempt to do their oversight duties. Dictators do that. Pretty soon it becomes the norm if we give up.

Resist! Persist!

He does not think before he says anything. It's all for effect. I've been worried about war, but this does not make me more concerned. It's just his stupid running mouth.
