GOP Rep. Says Revised Obamacare Repeal Bill Is 'Like A Kidney Stone'

Source: Talking Points Memo

By ESME CRIBB Published MAY 3, 2017 11:13 AM

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) on Wednesday compared the revised Republican bill to repeal and place Obamacare, which Massie has said he will vote against, to a kidney stone. “The House doesn’t care what happens to it, as long as they can pass it,” Massie tweeted.

Massie in March called the bill’s original iteration “a stinking pile of garbage.” He later announced that he was changing his vote on the bill — which was later pulled by leaders after they failed to corral enough votes to get it through the House — from “no” to “hell no.”

to a woman's labor pains. It's that painful.

Having had two babies and no kidney stones, I can't vouch for that comparison, but I have seen my husband suffer with them. And he did, indeed, suffer.

I remember when I was pregnant the first time, I was told that it was "like pooping a watermelon." I remember feeling the blood drain from my face.

Who says women are the weaker sex? God gave the BIG jobs to women.

I also like to point out that God couldn't have done what He wanted to do (send His Son down to earth to live among us mortals, that is) - without a woman.

I've battled kidney stones for over 10 years. Just like giving birth, you never know how long the pain will last, and I think that's the worst part of it.

One time, it got so bad I tried to knock myself out by slamming my head into a wall. It didn't work.

I love it that passing the so called replacement is turning out to be like trying and failing to pass a kidney stone. Suffer, suckers.

to repeal it when they knew there was no chance of it actually happening.it was an easy way of getting cheap points with their base. Obama would have vetoed the foolishness, lather, rinse, repeat. Now that they could actually do it, they are running away from it like their hair is on fire.
Cowards know that they can't put out anything better, and they know they'd get ripped apart in the polls for taking away people's health care.
