Feinstein slams group of all-male senators working on ObamaCare repeal

Source: the hill

By Mallory Shelbourne - 05/07/17 10:34 AM EDT

......................“I don’t know what the 13 white men, when you have five Republican women who are excluded from that, that these 13 men are supposed to sit down and put something together,” Feinstein told Andrea Mitchell on NBC’s “Meet the Press."

McConnell last week reportedly put together the group of senators to work on the repeal once the legislation narrowly passed the House. The team includes Republican Sens. John Cornyn (Texas), and Rob Portman (Ohio), Orrin Hatch (Utah), Lamar Alexander (Tenn.), John Thune (S.D.), Ted Cruz (Texas), Mike Lee (Utah), Tom Cotton (Ark.), Cory Gardner (Colo.), John Barrasso (Wyo.), and Mike Enzi (Wyo.).

............................

“Women’s health is a big part of this and women are a majority of the population and their health interests deserve to be contemplated in any reform,” she said.

The senator argued that Congress should fix problematic sections in ObamaCare, like the individual market, rather than doing a full repeal.

McTurtle didn't want women on the committee, why they might show a modicum of care about their constituents. You notice he only included 1 Senator from a state that expanded Medicaid. No, he has a clear agenda and appointed people that would support killing others by making healthcare unaffordable and by removing any protections for women and children.

I can't even say what I wish for him, but if it ever happens, I hope he is out of a job and uninsured.

yet my medicare, SS and VA benefits are all up for grabs now for the rich 1/2 percent that run this country, to rob, openly, now. Speak up, yes, able to stop...well that's a different story isn't it????? This country sickens me and the ones running it will probably kill me with open hate and neglect for my age, contribution-vet......and race. Although don't get me wrong. Many in the 'superior' group shall end up like me, they just can't see it, yet, in their little bubbles of entitled existence.

As a vet who served honorably, I AM SO ASHAMED at the open greed of leaders and the stupidity of citizens that voted these cretin robber barons into office from potus on down. What a fucking sham. SICKENED DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

13 Senators in health working group so far:
Alexander
Lee
Cotton
Gardner
Portman
Cruz
Toomey
Enzi
Hatch
McConnell
Cornyn
Thune
Barrasso

I'm so sick of this shit! I am so fucking sick of rich white men thinking they have the right to tell the rest of us what to do. They are mostly to blame for the fuck-uppedness of the world & yet think they are so goddamned special & better than the rest of us.
