Trump to hold campaign rally in Iowa next Wednesday

President Trump will hold a rally in Cedar Rapids, Iowa next week, his campaign committee announced on Wednesday.

The rally will take place on Wednesday, June 1 and follows Trump's first visit abroad as president. The president returns to the U.S. on Sunday.

Trump last held a campaign rally in Harrisburg, Pa. on April 29, the same night as the annual White House Correspondents' Association dinner in Washington, D.C.

"They would love to be with us right here tonight," Trump said of the press that night, adding his rally drew a "much larger crowd, and better people, too."

Just like his health care bill in the senate where no democrats or expert are allowed to participate outside of McConnell's 12 senators. At his last rally in Pennsylvania, I don't think he had a good turnout. You could see areas of the venue that were empty. Will be curious to see the turnout for this next rally.

As heard on the Thom Hartmann Show: Right after trump took office he formed his reelection campaign committee. Keep in mind Obama didn't form his reelection committee until a year before the election. Why would trump do this? So that his so called campaign rallies aren't just the president coming out to make a speech. That way they can keep those who do not agree with trump out of the rallies. Nice huh?
