Trump calls for unity in wake of shooting at Republican baseball practice

By MATTHEW NUSSBAUM 06/14/2017 11:45 AM EDT

President Donald Trump called for unity in the aftermath of a “brutal” attack on Republican members of Congress on Wednesday, expressing gratitude for the actions of Capitol Police officers who responded to the shooting scene at a congressional baseball practice.

“We may have our differences but we do well in times like these to remember everyone who serves in our nation’s capital is here because, above all, they love our country. We can all agree we are blessed to be Americans,” Trump said in a statement delivered in the Diplomatic Room at the White House. “We are strongest when we are unified and when we work together for the common good.”

He lied when he said everyone there loves their country. It certainly doesn't apply to him.

Who gives a fuck what Trump says on the matter? Find a source that discusses the event, not the oompa-loompa's take on it.

The republicans love our country soooo much that they're willing to take away health insurance from 24 million citizens
so that they can die when they get shot in the park!
