Angus King suggests Russia probes just '20 percent' done

Sen. Angus King estimates investigators are only 20 percent into their probes of Russian meddling in last year's presidential campaign and any possible ties with President Donald Trump and his associates.

In an interview Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” King appeared certain in his assessment that as new information is uncovered, the investigation could drag on for months. “I can say categorically that the collusion, the cooperation aspect of the investigation is not over. And as far as that goes, I'd say we're 20 percent into it,” the independent senator from Maine said.

The senator, who caucuses with Democrats and sits on the Senate Intelligence Committee, suggested the investigation could wrap up by the end of the year, but emphasized the situation was very fluid.

Wouldn't you have to know the end point to be correct about that? nt Snotcicles Jun 2017 #1

to let people know that

1) This isn't getting resolved as quickly as some would like. Which is a service to the country at large, honestly.

2) he personally sees, from a much closer vantage point, what we see from a distance.

Too quick and the infantile American attention span will kick in. It will be a non-issue after a month. The ONLY way we survive conservatism is to devestate it. And that will require time; lots of it. There needs to be a constant grind, grind, grind on Trump and the GOP.

Will we survive long enough to rid ourselves of Conservatism? Dunno. But this slow, methodical grinding is the only way.
