As Senate health care vote looms, Colorado's Cory Gardner says GOP should have been more open

WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner said Tuesday that he agrees with some of the criticism Senate Republicans have faced over the lack of public debate during their attempt to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

“It should be more open,” said the Colorado Republican in a brief interview. “I think there should be (Senate) hearings on this.”

But, Gardner said, the fault lies with U.S. politics writ large, rather than with him and other Senate Republican leaders, who are writing the bill and control the chamber’s agenda.

“I’m disappointed that we have a Washington, D.C., so fundamentally broken that both sides of the aisle can’t come together to fix” health care, said Gardner, whose role as chair of the National Republican Senatorial Committee makes him one of the top GOP officials in the Senate.

Both sides, Cory? Bullshit.

Come meet your constituents. We've been having townhalls without you because you're scared of us. Maybe because you know you wrong?

This is what the local media should be fucking hammering home on the local news about this asshole called Cory Gardner,, maybe the local corporate run media, should have run and "explained how the fucking doofus from Utah Orrin Hatch that when challenged by Claire McCaskill looked and sounded like he had head lights thrown into his worthless eyes and was just blathering and screwing human beings, and didn't know what she was talking about----------------BULLSHIT, he knew.

The fucking media should be reporting this shit at the national and local level, no wonder we have the fuckers running around congress saying the bullshit like this asshole Gardner, he is "part of the death panel caucus, he was in the fucking room, holding these "secret fascist meeting to screw human beings over, and now he saying he thinks it should be transparent, well Gardner your about 6 months to late, when your death panel party got power----------and your fucking Turtle said fuck this country and the human beings that need health insurance, because of your fucking Marco Rubio rider he planted in the budget, to defund the government from paying insurance companies subsidies to make health care affordable

It's self-preservation, trying to separate themselves from the unpopular secrecy meme, while NOT DOING ONE THING TO PREVENT IT OR STOP IT.

The old "Don't blame me, I didn't do it!" with hands raised up in the air thing, all the while supporting the leadership who is doing it, and VOTING for it. Doesn't pass the smell test. They are ALL in on it.

Dems had hearings, tons of amendments, it was so open. Even most Repugs have no idea of the details of their "kill the poor and working class" plan. They know it takes $ from healthcare of the needy and gives that money directly to them and the other rich; so they will vote for it regardless of whether they know the contest or not. This from one of the people that kept this so secret is just a thigh slapper. Is hypocricy and the inability to tell the truth embedded in all repug genes? Sure look like that to me.
