Source: BBC

North Korea has fired a ballistic missile off its east coast, say Japanese and South Korean authorities.

It was launched at 09:40 local time (00:40 GMT), from Banghyon in North Pyongan Province, reported Yonhap news agency citing South Korea's military.

Japan's NHK News quoted the defence ministry as saying it may have landed in waters claimed by Japan as its exclusive economic zone.

North Korea has ramped up nuclear and missile activities in recent months.

(snip)
An announcement on North Korea state television said a Hwasong-14 missile was tested on Tuesday, overseen by leader Kim Jong-un. The announcement said the projectile reached an altitude of 2,802km (1,731 miles) and flew 933km before hitting a target in the sea.

So what's the worst that can happen ?

NK gets an intercontinental ballistic missile ?

I doubt he would wipe out Seattle or SF.... but even if he does, then we should act.

From the middle of the Pacific.

Of course our once and future allies and numerous bases housing our military in Japan and Korea are at risk as well.

This really terrifies me because the orange hairball things pressuring works and lacks the capacity to work with allies.

There is no good outcome if this blows up. (Pardon).
Just a nightmare. So many North Korean military.
