With Trumps Green Light, Scaramucci Declares Total War on Reince Priebus

Source: Daily Beast

President Donald Trump has not only blessed efforts by his new communications director Anthony Scaramucci to wage a battle against chief of staff Reince Priebus, he’s actively egging on the very public and painful feud.

White House officials and outside allies say the president is revelling in Scaramucci’s campaign against Priebus—undertaken through cable news appearances and a billow of tweets, some of which were subsequently deleted—and is thrilled to see a top staffer placing a publicly bombastic emphasis on White House leaks to the press, which consistently infuriate the president.

“The president specifically gave (Scaramucci) the green light to go after Reince”—on-air if necessary—one White House adviser told The Daily Beast, citing conversations with President Trump. Scaramucci himself claimed that he had secured Trump’s “blessing” for his words and actions in a phone call with the president prior to a Thursday morning CNN interview.

The “president is not concerned with Reince’s feelings,” the source added. However, Trump has no interest in personally firing Priebus at this time, preferring to delegate abuse of his own chief of staff—who Trump has been frustrated with for months—to his new comms czar nicknamed “The Mooch.”

Why "go after" someone on your staff? If you don't like him, fire him. I know that this is what Trump likes to do - pit people against themselves either for his entertainment or to test them but seriously WHY?

Exactly. This is what he did on the Apprentice, where he was in his element, with his fake power...not that I watched it. I didn't.

He is creating a Roman Circus for his own amusement.

As soon as Trump quits or is impeached and convicted, Prez Pence will restore order and harmony to the White House. The place will run as efficiently and openly as a Swiss bank.

And we will be the worse for it.

truly sociopathic, mean people would be in charge. It was Never contemplated that the EC would hand power to a villian against the will of the people. Also, it was never comtemplated.that because of gerrymandering, cheating of all sorts, and greed, that villians without consciences, would sadistically use their power and dominate all branches of government.

for any of these creatures. Boo hoo. You signed up to work with a traitorous psychopath to wreak havoc on this democracy and to benefit your wallets. Now that psychopath is turning on you, one by one, and trying to choke the life out of you, day by day. What did you expect? Respect, consideration, loyalty? He can't stand the right of any of you! Were he not sitting on the second floor of the WH, he wouldn't allow you within 100 yards of his royal personage. He thinks you're stupid, and a handy tool to use until he had no further use for you. Boo hoo.

Because he's new to this, but don't connect the dots that *45 himself gives no one a chance. And they're fine with it.

Don't get me wrong I think they all need to go, and all these shake ups and this turmoil makes it all the more clear.....if that's possible.

If they quit, great. If they don't quit, he still gets the thrill of making their life miserable.

With the added bonus of getting to blame Scaramucci for it. Wasn't me, he did it.

Trump sits back and takes pleasure in his staff fighting it out over him - to his thinking, they are proving who is the most loyal to him by attacking each other.

Had Scaramucci been of the mind to not enjoy attacking people and opted to not go after Priebus, Trump would have turned on Scaramucci.

Everyone in a relationship with Trump, regardless of what kind, is in an abusive relationship.
