Trump's 'Fire and Fury' Comments Break Dow's Winning Streak

Source: WSJ

U.S. stocks dipped into negative territory late in Tuesdays trading session after saber-rattling from the White House over North Korea shook up an otherwise quiet summer trading session.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down about 33 points, or 0.2%, to 22085 after the President Donald Trump warned North Korea that threats to the U.S. will be met with fire and fury. The Dows modest decline snapped 10-session streak of consecutive gains.

The S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite Index each fell about 0.2% as well.

We'll be very lucky if that's all the damage the idiot's threats cause.

"'Cause us real Americans are gonna have to head to the hills and live off the Grid for a while if those crazy North Koreans bomb those Left Coast Lieberal States...And fight off all those soft city gangbangers and illegals that will be running away from the bombs."

The DeVos and Princes of the world are certainly going to start making bank off chaos and uncertainty.

Trump starts a war on the Korean peninsula. Especially if he's contemplating a pre-emptive nuclear strike.

Even the United States' most loyal allies would have trouble standing by a country and leader that killed millions of people because there was a chance that something bad might happen in the future.

It's insanity.

Maybe even some who would encourage him to sporadically spout off like this, almost like a pump-and-dump.

attempt a conventional limited airstrike.

Now I think he wants to launch a pre-emptive nuclear attack on North Korea.

That way lies madness.

He IS going to get a lot of people killed.
