Hicks likely to become next WH communications director

Source: CNN

Senior communications adviser Hope Hicks will likely take on the role of White House communications director, according to two sources inside the White House and one outside.

Discussions are in the final stages, the sources said.

Earlier this month, a White House official told CNN there were internal discussions that Stephen Miller, a senior adviser on policy, could be considered for an elevated communications role in addition to his current position.

The role of communications director has been vacant since Anthony Scaramucci was ousted from the position shortly after John Kelly took over as chief of staff last month.

is not widely known, but if she takes on comm dir, everyone will be laser focused on her and all this will become quite, quite nasty and uncomfortable. Wonder how our ever so sparkly first lady will like this? Of course, there's always the chance that she doesn't give a rat's ass too

That's their game... "my team sucks, but it's my team and I will turn a blind eye to the individual's personal perfidy".
They are destroying our Republic they have to be named and called out.

I wish you were right about that... but I don't see the Republicans dumping him. Perhaps we get the Congress back in 2018, but right now... 2018 seems like a long way off. Give this wercking crew 15months and the damage they can do to our country... at this rate... I shudder to think.
