Charlotte congressional candidate calls opponent a coward, derogatory slur

Source: WSOCTV

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - A Democratic candidate for North Carolina’s 9th Congressional District stands by calling his primary opponent a coward and a derogatory word used to describe a female body part.

Christian Cano criticized Dan McCready on Facebook for not being tough enough on President Donald Trump’s Charlottesville remarks.

He posted, “Go on the record you coward! You’re running as a Marine veteran. Stop being a coward and stand up for something you (derogatory slur)!”

Dan McCready is Marine veteran who joined the USMC after 9/11 and fought in Iraq.

That kind of talk might lose you a Democratic primary, but it might catapult you all the way to White House as a Republican.

and it is a direct reference to being a "fraidy cat" or "scaredy cat."

The term was used that way for decades. It's only in recent times - since some lost souls degenerated to the scumsucking level of republican "family values' - that you began hearing people use it to describe and deride someone in the context of a woman's anatomy.

10. Well, let's see. I was in grade school, about 1955, playing in the sandbox at recess. Suddenly....

I had no bad associations for names of kitty-cats -- I had to ask Mama after school.

I'm not sure when the crossover was complete (if ever), because we were still learning childhood poetry and nursery rhymes featuring pussies that would claw if you were mean to them.

Adopting trump tactics is not a good trait. If he's the best Charlotte has to offer then McCready will likely win.
