Pro-Trump float hits the streets in downtown Lincoln (NE)

A group calling itself the "Trump Unity Bridge" pulled up alongside the State Capitol over the noon hour in an impromptu show of support for the embattled president.

Loudspeakers on the float poured out patriotic music as a speaker inside the pickup truck explained that he had driven 40,000 miles to demonstrate his support for Trump and his policies.

Capitol security shooed away the trailer before a reporter could talk to the driver because the float was blocking traffic and did not have a parade permit.
